- This was the real William.
He walked out of her room.
David.
He even realized David;that's to say that their identities completely were exposed.
Alice pressed down on her head, endured the slight dizziness and got off the bed. She opened the door and walked out, to the room next door.
Lambert stood at the doorway and looked inside with a pair of cold eyes.
Alice walked over and saw that the room was full of sunlight. William was lying asleep on the bed.David was sitting beside him with a mask on his face and was resting with his eyes closed.
The sunlight shone onto William's angular face. His thin lip was pursed, and his brows were still furrowed.
"Brother."
Alice said weakly.
David opened his eyes and looked at Alice, a look of relief on his face. "You're awake, that's great."
"En, is William alright?"
Alice asked worriedly.
"If I don’t feed him a sleeping pill, something bad will happen to him. When you faint, his entire person is bot well. His face is as white as paper." David stood up from the chair, lowered his eyes and looked at William who was on the bed, and sighed helplessly, "He's too nervous for you; it'll become a huge earthquake even if you drop a strand of hair here."
Not to mention faint.
Last night, William's condition looked even worse than Alice's.
Alice walked in and leaned over to look at the sleeping William. His face was still pale at this moment, and it was not looking good.
Lambert stood at the door and looked at David coldly, "Are you guys preparing to stay here?"
David glanced at Lambert, his gaze indifferent. Then, he looked at Alice and said, "Alice, make some preparations. Let's go first."
"That William, he ..."
Alice asked hesitantly.
"If he wakes up, this Lambert Mansion will be destroyed. Let's go back first." David spoke in a cold and detached voice, "After all, Dr. Lambert and I are friends, I don't want to lose too much face."
"Dr. Lambert? Didn't you say that you no longer consider me your friend? "
He leaned against the door, his voice cold.
David did not speak. They were the ones who had lied about this matter, and Lambert was unjust, but David was still selfish. He was not happy about this matter, and he did not want to get to know this Lambert anymore.
Alice turned around and was about to pack her luggage when Lambert suddenly reached out and stopped her arm.
Hearing this, Alice was startled, and her tone contained a bit of anger, "You still want to settle things clearly with me? I didn't hear wrong, right?"
"Yes sir!"
He turned around and left.
Alice looked at David when her face tainted with anger, "So what if it's settled, it's settled. He's just a small figure relying on Lancaster;do you really think my Cullen family is afraid of him?"
"..."
Alice frowned.
In the hall of the Lambert Mansion, the tea in the teacup on the table was crystal clear, giving off some heat. Alice sat on the single person sofa. David sat opposite to him, and Lambert sat on the leather couch on the right.
The three of them had reached a conclusion.
The air in the hall was filled with tension.
No one spoke. David and Lambert both had gloomy expressions, not at all like that they were discussing matters.
"Dr. Lambert, we are wrong on this matter. We can hide the truth first, but we aren't the main culprit." Alice was the first to speak to break the tension and silence, "For the sake of treating illnesses, you made up some kind of predecessor to lie to us;can we just write off this matter?"
She didn't want the situation to be too bad. She just wanted to end it all.
"Written off?"
Lambert put down the teacup in his hand and looked at Alice sarcastically with an extremely cold voice, "How can you write off all the nonsense you've done in my place? Eat my food and stay with me. I've been studying how to treat you every night."
"I can convert these into money for you."
Alice said.
"You didn't cure her, did you? Alice fainted? This proves that your method is wrong; you are not a Hundred Healing." David sat there and explained as he crossed his legs.
"It's because they're lying and hiding the truth!"
Lambert said.
"Actually, I don't want to hide the fact that I'm sick. It was you who confirmed the cause of my heart disease." Alice said. On that day, she had properly answered the doctor's questions, but after Lambert asked a few sentences, everything was said by him.
