- Should I or should I not courageously pursue
Alice walked as she thought about it, but before she even reached the door, she heard Lambert's somewhat hesitant voice sound out from behind her. "Can I tell you about it?"
"What?"
Alice was stunned as she turned her head to look at Lambert.
"Come here." There was hesitation in Lambert's eyes, and it seemed that there was a trace of apprehension as he stood up and walked to Alice's original seat and sat down, indicating for her to sit in the doctor's seat. "You sit here."
What was going on?
Wasn't that where a doctor should sit?
Alice walked over in a daze; Lambert then pointed to that seat, "You sit, you sit, Madam, you sit."
Alice sat down at the table and looked at Lambert in confusion. "Is there anything else that you need ?"
Lambert sat there, a trace of unease on his face. He lightly coughed a few times as he put his hand to his lips, shifting his posture several times.
Alice looked at him, confused.
What happened to him?
She was about to ask another question when Lambert coughed a few times and looked at her with a serious expression. He took a step ahead of her and said, "He has been sending me gifts these past few days."
"Gift? What is it?"
Alice asked, puzzled.
Seeing that she did not understand, Lambert's face looked somewhat awkward, and the conversation could not continue anymore. Seeing his expression, Alice suddenly understood.
"Yes." His face was serious and solemn, and his voice was as cold as ever. "He felt that he had said too much to me earlier, so he sent me all kinds of antiques to make me forgive him."
As he spoke, a hint of anticipation could be seen in his eyes, despite his efforts to conceal it.
Alice sat in front of the table. Looking at Lambert's current state, she then thought about what William had said.
If that was the case, it would be better to die before the beginning.
Alice was about to say something when she was once again grabbed by Lambert.
"He's been looking for me every day to talk about it, even asking me to play football, and even saying that he's going to sit at the turrets again."
As he spoke, a hint of a smile appeared in his eyes.
Alice pursed her lips.
"I didn't say anything, but our relationship eased a bit, and he saw me as a friend again." Lambert explained in detail to Alice.
David would no longer call him Dr. Lambert.
He would never break off all ties with his friends again.
"Well, isn't that fine?" Alice said in a bland voice. Lambert looked at her and asked, "Did he get separated with his girlfriend?"
"What?"
Alice was stunned.
"I asked him why he didn't bring his girlfriend over. He had a complicated expression on his face and said that it was impossible for that person to come. That's why I'm thinking; did he have a conflict with his girlfriend, or did he end up splitting up?"
It didn't look like that he was in a love affair no matter what.
Alice shook her head, "It's better if you ask Big Bro about this; it's not convenient for me to say too much."
Hearing this, a hint of disappointment flashed across Lambert's eyes.
Alice stood up and wanted to leave, but Lambert suddenly asked, "Do you think that I should be braver?"
Alice sat back down before she could even stand up. Her body was a little petrified as she sat on the chair and stared blankly at Lambert. Lambert's serious face made her feel an inexplicable pressure.
If she hadn't chatted with William before, she would have wanted Lambert to be brave. But now, she was at a loss.
"Why are you asking me this?"
Alice asked with a forced smile.
Hearing this, Lambert's expression became somewhat awkward and helpless. "You're the only one who knows my secret.
Who do you think I can talk to?"
So it was like this.
Alice bit her lips, and said, "I don't dare to come up with any ideas. It's still up to you to consider.
"Do you disgust people like me?" Lambert suddenly asked with an unsightly expression.
Nausea?
Alice slowly let out a breath, and said seriously, "Dr. Lambert, I once heard a saying that love is between two souls, and it has nothing to do with one's body."
"Madam, to be honest, I have never considered this problem before. I think if the confession is a failure, then it's a failure. I don't want to make it so that my friends will not be able to make it. But the appearance of you and Mr. Cullen has changed my mind."
"Huh?"
Alice looked at him in a daze as she bit her lips.
Why did she and William even change him?
If you don't have it, it doesn't matter. I can also live by myself, just that it feels a little difficult, but at least I have a decent image in front of David. I am still Dr. Lambert." The sunlight shined a layer of fluffy light onto his face. "But after I saw the Mr. Cullen, I realized that there was actually another kind of emotion that could do such a thing."
"..."
Alice pursed her lips.
"If Mr. Cullen is willing to sacrifice everything for you, it's also fine to interact with men. Changing his personality, it's fine to let all of his pride and self-esteem be thrown away. I used to think it too much for him, but now I seem to understand."
