- Tell me, you're okay
Daniel immediately walked forward and helped William up from the Orchid Pavilion. William reached out and wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, staring at the man on the ground gloomily, "Take him away! Let's not let him die and torture him to death!"
"Understood, Young Master."
Daniel supported William and left. He lowered his eyes and glared at the Lang on the ground.
"Let’s go!"
William had never liked being weak in front of others. He reached out to push Daniel away, and walked towards Alice with slightly wobbled steps.
Alice looked at his unstable figure and suddenly understood why he wasn't willing to kidnap her back at the Lang's family residence. He wasn't confident that she could leave safely.
It turned out that the injuries on his body were even worse than she had expected.
Like a drunk person, William walked step by step to stand in front of Alice. His eyes were still pitch black and deep as he stared at her.
She leaned against the tree without moving, her eyes meeting his, unable to speak.
"Bam."
With a stumble, William almost fell onto her body, with a Holy between them. Being hit by the collision, pain spread across every joint of her body, but she did not dare make a sound.
She was afraid that William would feel bad.
William stood in front of her, and watched as the strong light shined upon her face until it was white and bloodless. His face slowly approached hers, and he lowered his head to lean on her forehead, and reached out his hand to caress her face.
His forehead was cold, but his fingers were so warm that they seemed to burn against her skin.
Their foreheads were pressed against each others, and their faces were colored.
"Alice, what should I say to you? How can you be so reckless?" William said. His originally hysterical voice left her weak and helpless.
Blood oozed from the wound in his chest.
Alice leaned on a tree, her hands still holding onto Holy. Hearing that, her lips moved, and she revealed a slight smile with great difficulty. Her voice was so hoarse that only he and Holy could hear her, "You said you save me, and I will save your son."
"How stupid ,you are not be able to tell that I'm joking."
William asked weakly.
"Mm, I can't tell."
Alice admitted her stupidity.
"Stupid." William pressed a hand to the back of her head and scolded her.
The wind cut through the trees and cut his wound like a knife
Alice didn't say a word. She only quietly leaned against him, against the big tree.
Both of them could not speak much, and after a long while, William asked while sticking close to her forehead, "Tell me, are you alright?"
"I'm fine, William, I'm fine."
Alice replied obediently, even though her body was in pain.
"Yes."
William replied in satisfaction. He wanted to bring her and Holy away, but he didn't have much strength left, he could only stand there stiffly, firmly sticking to her forehead and sensing her breathing.
Breathing was the most real proof that she was alive, and he needed it too badly.
A group of bodyguards stood at the side. Daniel looked at them and sighed lightly, then turned to the bodyguards and said, "Clean up the scene."
"Yes, Steward Daniel."
The night passed really long, and in the end, the carriage that was going back was a little bumpy on the road. She was shocked, but she didn't dare say anything, and said softly, "William, I'm a little tired."
After she finished speaking, she fainted as she leaned into William's embrace.
"Then go to sleep for a while."
William said as he leaned back with his arms wrapped around Alice and slowly closed his eyes.
Holy sat beside them, staring at the two adults who had fallen asleep together. His young face was a little lifeless and at a loss.
"Hurry, young master and Alice have fainted. The Lang's family is the closest to here;go there and treat them immediately."
Daniel, who was sitting on the in front, urged the driver on.
Hearing that, Holy realized that they had fainted, he looked at the two masters for a while, then extended his hand and held Alice's hand.
"Master Holly, what's wrong with you?" Daniel turned his head to look at Holy, and his gaze fell onto a trace of blood on his hand. "You're injured?"
"Grandpa Daniel."
Holy looked at Daniel, and his back slightly shrank.
"What's wrong?"
Daniel thought that he was feeling uncomfortable.
"Will they die?" Holy asked, and a pair of pitch black eyes revealed ignorance. Hearing that, Daniel laughed and comforted him, "After knowing of the accident, I have already told the doctors to be ready, they will treat it."
"Will her baby be gone?"
