"Who would have the time to choose a name?" Just as he was about to leave, he seemed to have thought of something and turned to look at Alice. He looked deeply at her, then pointed in the direction of the tombstone and said, "This road, we will call it as the Eternity Lane."
the Eternity Lane.
Alice's heart fiercely shook as she raised her head to look at William. William also stared at her with that pair of deep eyes that contained an absolute doting.
She looked at the long tunnel, her eyes somewhat bitter and somewhat confused.
"William, is there really an eternity in this world?"
Alice asked.
"Didn't Lang Scott go all out to wait for the flower to cover the entire channel before dying? It was precisely because he believed that there would be an eternity, wasn't it?" William said indifferently.
Would this make her feel better?
Alice looked at the channel and thought that it was true too. Whether or not there was one, the three of them believed that there was one.
Alice nodded, then said, "the Eternity Lane sounds very nice."
"Let's go."
William said.
"Yes."
Alice walked outside. After walking a few steps, Holy caught up to her with a lollipop in his mouth and a broken doll in his hand. He held Alice's hand and looked at her worriedly.
Holy was still the same as before, taciturn and polite, but he was much more attached to her than before.
Alice thought, after going through the Wave Island, even Holy understood how to get along with a lot of families.
"Young Master Holy."
Charles walked behind them and suddenly called out to them.
Holy was looking at Alice to see if she was frowning or feeling uncomfortable. Hearing him, he turned his head and saw Charles standing there, smiling at him, "Young Master Holy, come over here."
Alice looked over with some doubt, and William pulled him away.
Holy walked towards Charles and politely lowered his head to look at him. Charles was very energetic while wearing the butler uniform, and he slowly handed over an item.
It was a picture book.
Holy looked at him in puzzlement, then smiled, "I have never destroyed this book, and I have always carried it with me. This is a promise to your mother, and I promised her that I would give the book to her child at the most suitable time."
Holy was stunned. He handed the doll over to Charles and took it from his hands.
Painting a girl with a baby.
Some of the words he recognized, but some of the words he didn't recognize.
Charles's voice continued to echo from above his head, "I originally wanted to give this to you guys after you have grown up, but this time, I could tell that you were a little unhappy. I just thought that Young Master Holy was the same as Second Young Master, extremely talented, and would definitely understand how much your mother loves you two after seeing this."
Holy stood there silently, flipping through the pages of the painting. Was this page saying that Mom was talking to them who were in her stomach? There were so many words. She really could talk to herself.
Looking at it, Holy suddenly laughed out loud. A small cluster of fireworks seemed to be blooming deep within his pitch - black pupils.
Charles stood there, a little shocked as he looked at the little child in front of him. Young Master Holy was considered an exception in the Cullen Family, very quiet, with a polite yet always cold little face. He was still young and didn't even like to play, much less laugh.
Charles thought that this was the first time he had seen such an innocent and joyous smile on his face.
Charles understood that he had done the right thing, and he immediately relaxed a lot.
Back then, the Madam wanted to clean up his entire past, but he had not destroyed this book. He kept thinking that he still owed Alice a promise, and that he must definitely do it.
"Holy, what are you doing?"
Alice walked a long distance, but she was still worried about Holy, so she turned around and shouted out.
"He's here!"
Holy immediately answered and took the doll from Charles's hand. He hugged it with the photo album as he ran towards Alice, and his tone filled with excitement.
"Yes."
Alice nodded, and seeing Holy following along relieved her.
The matter of the Catherine made her feel guilty, and made her understand and cherish it even more. She had finally gotten a family to cherish, and nothing was more important than this.
Before she left, Alice could not help but look back at the channel, and the luxuriant purple flowers were swaying in the wind, watching for a long time, as though the channel was shaking slightly, restraining all the sunlight, as though a time channel was opening up, leading to the eternity.
Looking again, this channel was still breathtakingly beautiful.
Next, because William and Alice were both injured, William was slightly more heavily injured. Alice didn't want him to waste any more time on his honeymoon, so she wanted him to take a good rest.
William said he obeyed what Alice said apparently, but in the end, he brought her and the twins back to San Francisco. He dealt with the overstocked work while he was having rest.
