Alice's thoughts had already completely flown to the research base s of the Holographic Technology.
William, just you wait!
The Holographic Technology's land area was enormous, it was established in the beautiful countryside, and the sky was blue as if it had been washed, and the sunlight was much cleaner than in the city. The lush crops were like oil paintings spilled from the heavens, and the green reeds by the lakeside swayed gently in the wind.
Further in, there was a wide concrete road. The door was shaped like a ring and was inlaid with a lot of crystals. The reflected sunlight shone brightly.
An elite in a white shirt swiped his card through the door as he hurried in.
From the main entrance to research base's hall, they had to walk for another hundred meters to enter the hall. In the center of the hall, there were all sorts of holographic image floating in the air, with the words "N.E." printed on every screen.
The stairs were made of fine steel, but they were simple, and they did not lose their aura, going up the curved stairs, it was a temporary arrangement of the Office of the President's.
Inside the transparent glass, William was seated at the computer desk as he processed Holographic Technology's system. He was wearing a black shirt, who was lean and noble, and his jacket was casually thrown to the side of the sofa.
The computer screen and the air were filled with all kinds of data that was being refreshed at a rapid pace.
Amongst the dustbin at the side, there were a few boxes of food that had not been touched.
"Knock."
The door was knocked, and the sound of his fingers lightly knocking on the glass door was extremely clear.
William did not even raise his head as he reached out his hand to signal for the person to come in. He continued to process the pile of data in front of him.
"President, here's your coffee."
Jeanne walked in from the outside. She was wearing a white shirt, and her chest moved up and down sexily as she walked, and her long hair tied up in a bun. She was professional and capable, but it couldn't hide the fact that she had a bright young face.
"Put it down."
William said coldly, and he started drawing the contents of the two tablets at the same time, his black eyes staring at the numbers on the tablets, his mind thinking about the tables.
His body leaned forward slightly, his long fingers continuously typing and deleting data. It was not like doing data, but more like gracefully playing a piano. The curve of his chin was taut, and his eyes were dark and deep.
The man in front of him was unbelievably perfect. He was simply too mesmerizing.
As Jeanne stood there staring at him, and she couldn't help but think back to all those years of her classmates' time. At that time, she had already thought that William's future would not be defined as just being a noble, but she hadn't thought that he would have his present glory.
William did not touch the coffee cup, and threw himself into the pile of data. Jeanne turned and took a glance, and upon seeing the boxes of food inside the dustbin, but he couldn't help but frown, and then looked at the slightly wrinkled clothes on the sofa and asked, "CEO, did you sleep here last night?"
After saying that, Jeanne walked towards the sofa, and picked up his jacket and patted it. She pulled up his sleeves and hung them on the hanger.
Hearing that voice, William looked up at Jeanne, and retracted his gaze with just a glance. There was a trace of disgust in his eyes, "Why are you here?"
"I'll bring you the coffee and show you the latest data."
Jeanne stepped onto her black high heels and stood beside William's desk, her voice sounding very official.
When she reached N.E., she realized that William had already completely forgotten about her. She was also just a junior sister, and it was normal for William to not remember her as he had encountered such a big character all these years.
"Put it down and you can go."
William lowered his head again, and his voice filled with absolute indifference. Every single strand of his hair was resisting someone's invasion of his space.
He was just as venomous as before, never caring about the feelings of others.
Jeanne nodded, and did not stick to William. She knew, William only admired those who had the ability, as long as she did everything perfectly, William would notice her sooner or later.
Sure enough, before she could even reach the door, William's cold voice came from behind her, "When you go back, you will be the assistant to the Secretary."
He didn't praise her, but instead gave her a promotion.
When they were in school, she had already known that William was a very fastidious person. He even had his own style of making notes, but other than that type of typesetting, he didn't really care about anything else.
"Thank you, CEO." Jeanne did not express her joy, she only bowed towards William, and said, "CEO, I have a suggestion."
"I don't want to hear it, go away."
William interrupted her.
Jeanne looked at William, seeing that he was still looking at the data report, and she understood that he was still in a good mood, and thus said again: "I would like to ask for instructions, for the employees to go out to eat during the lunch break."
William raised his eyes and looked coldly at her, and did not retract his gaze immediately.
Had he finally met her face to face?
Jeanne looked at him neither humbly nor arrogantly, her heart beating a little faster. William said coldly, "Go and find a piece of tape!"
"What?"
