Yao Ran came down from the water tanker, put away the five empty water tanks, and replaced them with five tanks filled with diluted lake water.
Turning to look at Long Yu, Yao Ran said, "Long Yu, you can drive the truck back to the villa area. I will wait here to replace the water tanks once Wu Lian comes to collect the water."
Long Yu nodded and said, "Be careful."
After he left, Yao Ran stored the small tanker in her space. She needs to drive it back to the villa area tomorrow night. For now, she hid and waited for Wu Lian's arrival.
After waiting for a while, Yao Ran saw the familiar military truck and three large water tankers approaching in the distance. Wu Lian had arrived right on schedule.
She stayed hidden until the tankers were filled, and they departed before she came out to replace the empty water tanks again. An hour later, Wu Lian returned to collect another batch of water.
the soldiers pumped water from the tanks to fill the water tankers, Long Yu returned and quietly joined Yao Ran.
About half an hour later, Wu Lian gave the order, "Let's head back."
Yao Ran and Long Yu waited until the military truck and the three water tankers had disappeared before they went to the back area. Then, Yao Ran replaced the empty water tanks before leaving with Long Yu.
When she arrived home, Yao Ran was eager to check the changes in her space. She first shared a meal with Long Yu and only entered her space after he returned to his apartment.
Upon appearing inside her space, Yao Ran was astonished by the transformation.
The space had expanded to three times its previous size, and the villa's third floor now had three additional bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom.
The upgrade also added a new floor to the villa. On the fourth floor, there was a swimming pool, a spacious hall, and a rooftop garden.
Yao Ran looked around the fourth floor and realized there were no more stairs. She walked to the rooftop garden and looked down. Standing there, she could see far into the distance.
To her surprise, besides the expansion of the size and the villa's fourth floor, her space now included two mountains and a long river.
The mountain peaks were shrouded in a thin fog, and the river appeared to originate from the middle of the mountaintops. It flowed through the grassland and eventually connected to the lake.
Looking up, Yao Ran noticed that the fog covering the sky had vanished.
In the sky, a bright sun and a full moon hung, each illuminating half of it. She stared in amazement at the unusual scene of daylight on one side and night on the other.
After a moment of astonishment, Yao Ran regained her composure. She fed the animals, tended to her farmland, and then took a shower before leaving her space.
