Natural Disasters Strikes: I stockpiled like crazy! novel Chapter 111

In the first floor of the Empire Building besides the staircase, there was a fierce argument going on.

The survivors split into two groups. The right had four people and the left had three.

The one leading the right side was a middle-aged man.

He had a thin build, wearing a dirty branded tuxedo’s whose upper buttons were open and right pants was torn.

His eyes are beaded, partly covered by askew gold-rimmed glasses he was wearing.

The rim of his eyes were red, lips pointed, twisting into a sinister angle as he scolded the other side of survivors mercilessly.

"If I would not have done that, do you think we can escape?! Your flesh would not even be enough for all those wolves!" His loud cranky voice echoed in the whole first floor.

A middle-aged man woman from the opposing glared and Bei Mingsi with hatred. "Bei Mingsi! You ungrateful bastard! My husband helped you get on the jeep but you pushed him off!"

Her husband who always breaks his bones to search for food and save some of it, so she can eat well was left in that dangerous place and now, she doesn’t even know if he is still alive!

How can she not hate this Bei Mingsi!

If it weren’t for him, her husband would come out alive too!

"Yes! My son too! How could you leave my son there! I could still hear him calling my name! If you would have waited for a little while! Everybody could escape!" Another middle aged woman dressed in red qipao sent Bei Mingsi a death glare before sobbing.

Her son who always put her first! Her baby son!

The last woman also clenched his fists. Her husband unfortunately could not get on because he returned to help the injured people in the army.

Before the typhoon, there were staying in a hotel not far from the Plant Conservatory.

A seminar and conference were scheduled since earlier this year but because of the typhoon they were stuck there.

When the weather got better, they wanted to go to the Military Base.

But the survivors that went ahead of them never reached the base because they were attack by large wolves when they passed by the Plant Conservatory.

The memory vividly stayed on her mind and scarred her for the rest of the time.

To worsen it, the supplies in the hotel started dwindling and the snow came, making the temperature freezing.

She though they would remain trapped there forever.

But, by a stroke of miracle, last night, the military sent three jeeps full of soldiers.

It would have gone well if not for this bastard.

When the driver and the passenger soldiers got off the jeep to push the debris out of the way, this Bei Mingsi took advantage of their absence and jumped on the driver seat and sped away.

One of his friends also did the same thing to the other jeep.

They tried to stop him but the speed he was driving the jeep nearly thrown them off, they could only hold on for their lives.

Bei Mingsi remained indignant and sanctimonious. He viewed his actions as righteous.

"The military couldn’t even handle those things! You saw it for yourself last night! I save your asses, so why are you complaining to me! If it was any second late, those wolves would jumped on the jeep and eat us all!"

"Yes! We owe Brother Bei our lives and you didn’t say a thank you to him!" A young man in early twenties and Bei Mingsi’s cousin, Bei Changge pointed his fingers at the women, accusing them for being unappreciative.

"Yes! Brother Bei should have left them instead too!"

"Owe our lives? Don’t make me laugh! The one who brought the jeeps were the soldiers! If it weren’t for them, we would have rot in that place!"

The women weren’t at least grateful.

Bei Mingsi was someone ill tempered. He had enough of their scoldings and raised his fists.

"Shut up!"

These women were already tired and hungry and they couldn’t muster anymore strength to defend themselves.

Bei Mingsi’s cousin and buddies quickly help him out.
