At that point, Raven had already returned to her seat, and Matteo and the others no longer paid attention to her.

Freya continued to chat with Professor Nolan.

After a while, when Professor Nolan left, Freya took a sip of her drink and, when she looked up, noticed Levi looking at her with an ambiguous smile.

As for Matteo, he was facing away from her.

When he saw her glance over, Levi raised his eyebrows and gave her a subtle nod, lifting his wine glass towards her.

Freya frowned, not understanding what Levi meant.

He seemed to sneer at her, then quickly shifted his gaze away, no longer paying attention to her.

Freya suddenly realized what was going on.

It was likely that he thought she and Johnny had bullied Raven, and now Levi was trying to signal her that this matter wasn’t over.

Freya furrowed her brow.

“I was wondering why Matteo suddenly showed up at my banquet, but then I realized it was because he was introducing people to Miss Brown.”
