Zoren raised an eyebrow as Old Mrs. Pierson snapped her fingers. At her signal, a servant on standby approached, carrying a tray, and placed it on the table between them. The servant carefully poured tea into a cup and set it in front of Zoren.

"Renren, this is no ordinary tea!" Old Mrs. Pierson declared. "This tea will help you tonight."

"And how is it supposed to help me?" he asked.

Old Mrs. Pierson grinned. "It’s good for the body and your... performance. Since you’ve been ill and taken so much medication throughout your life, this will cleanse your system. It’ll also, ah... get you in the mood."

"I don’t need it," Zoren replied flatly, batting his eyelashes softly. "I’m always in the mood."

His comment caused the servant to blush and quickly turn her head away.

"That’s not what I meant!" Old Mrs. Pierson waved her hand irritably. "Tsk, tsk. This is why I say you’re still too innocent."

She wanted to add something like, ’I pity my little Penelope,’ or ’Are you even giving her a satisfying experience?’ But instead of criticizing her grandson, she knew she had to guide him in the right direction.

"Renren, this tea will keep you going all night." Old Mrs. Pierson leaned in, her hand cupped beside her mouth as she whisper-yelled. Then she leaned back and huffed. "This tea will help with that," she assured him.

"Is it an aphrodisiac?"

"Good!" she exclaimed. "Now, drink it while Penny is still freshening up."

Zoren smiled at his grandmother before glancing down at the tea in front of him. He reached for the cup, holding it close. Though his vision was still poor, he stared at his distorted reflection in the tea until it stilled.

After a long, cold shower, Penny’s body finally returned to its normal temperature. Standing in front of the full-body mirror, she nodded in satisfaction. Her hair was still damp, but she was making sure she was "geared" for the night.
