Chapter 65: ’Seduction 101’

It hadn’t even been thirty minutes since Florian last saw Arthur and Charles, yet he was more on edge than ever. He needed more time—time to convince himself that he was okay with using this body to tempt his kidnappers, to lull them into a false sense of security before catching them off guard.

But the more he thought about it, the more he hesitated. One, this wasn’t his body—he was merely inhabiting it. Two, he didn’t have a concrete plan. His best idea? Seduce them, catch them off guard, maybe stab them, then run.

He needed more time, but he also needed to act fast.

So when Charles and Arthur returned, he was sweating bullets. He quickly forced his expression into something neutral, gripping the fabric of his clothes just to keep his hands from shaking.

"So, little prince. We received a note from our boss," Charles said, arms crossed over his chest.

’They’re mentioning their boss again... Who even is this guy? And how much control does he have over them and this kidnapping?’

"Apparently, we can’t sell you to any noble. Our boss is sure the king will pay for your release. And we have no reason to doubt his intel. So, you’re lucky." Charles’ words made Florian exhale a quiet breath of relief, though he didn’t let it show on his face.

Whoever their ’boss’ was, he was putting a lot of faith in Heinz. But Florian doubted Heinz would act anytime soon. The fact that they were nowhere near the forest anymore was proof of that.

Still, Florian had luck on his side. It would take them a while to realize Heinz didn’t care about him at all. And that gave him more time to act, more time to think. More time to execute a plan before they got desperate and did something reckless.

"That means we can spend more time having fun with you," Arthur said with a smirk, stepping toward Florian—only for Charles to stop him again. Arthur shot him an annoyed look. "What now?"

"If we’re still waiting on the king, we can’t touch him. Selling a used body to some noble is one thing, but the king? And the boy knows our names and faces. That, I believe, was a mistake." Charles pinched the bridge of his nose, looking irritated. "We can’t be reckless anymore."

’That didn’t seem to stop him in the novel. If anything, Kaz and I wrote him to be absolutely despicable. So why is he hesitating now? Is it because I’m their only hostage right now? Back then, they had the assurance of payment because of the princesses, so they let loose with the only male.’

Florian studied them carefully, keeping his posture relaxed, unbothered. But he could still see it—the way Charles looked at him. It wasn’t hesitation, not really.

It was restraint.

Charles wanted to wreck him.

And Florian would put that to good use.

"Hah. See, this is why I told you we should’ve grabbed at least one or two princesses. You let this prince sweet-talk you into only taking him, and now we can’t even have fun without worrying about payment!" Arthur scoffed, shoving Charles roughly. Charles’ expression darkened.

"Watch it, Arthur. There’s only so much disrespect I’ll take from you."

"Oh yeah? And how much respect do you think you deserve if we lose our payout because of your bad decisions?" Arthur shot back.

’They’re tense... and fighting. This could be my chance.’ Florian thought. He had to act before Charles retaliated.

He forced himself to speak, his voice quieter, hesitant. "W-What if... I was willing to sleep with you both? Would that help?"

The room fell silent. Both men turned to him in surprise. Florian bit his tongue, resisting the urge to cringe or take back his words—especially when he saw the hunger in Arthur’s gaze.

"Now that’s what I’m talking about, Your Highness. I knew deep inside you wanted that sweet ass wre—"

’I knew he wouldn’t be easy to convince, unlike Arthur, who probably thinks with his lower head.’ Florian composed himself.

"Dishonest?" Charles tilted his head slightly.

’Just say it.’

Charles stared at him, unblinking, his expression unreadable. Florian held his breath, watching for any sign of hesitation, any flicker of doubt. But Charles was a hard man to read. His gaze flickered over Florian’s body, assessing, calculating. freёwebnoѵel.com
