Shaking the thought off, Zivon replied, “Go on…”
“Alright… You see, I’ve been keeping up to date with any news regarding you and Sophia… and while I know that you’re only doing this for your grandmother’s sake, please remember that she’s dead. Prioritize the living and your happiness, won’t you? I just don’t want you to end up regretting losing Xavia because of all this… I assure you that in the long run, Sophia is nothing compared to Xavia,” replied Hal.
Throughout the past few days, Hal had seen what a wonderful woman Xavia was. Not only did that girl have a good heart, but she was also willing to do just about anything, and she wasn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. Few women in this day and age were able to remotely mimic Xavia’s personality…
Upon hearing that, Zivon couldn’t help but look slightly gloomy. He, of course, was aware of all this. Why else had he told her to leave the country before this? With that in mind, he was prompted to say, “And here I was wondering what important news you had to share… Regardless, we’re both on good terms.”
“Like hell you are! If you weren’t already aware, you’ve already appeared countless times on the news with Sophia! No matter how tolerant she may be, Xavia’s still a woman at heart, and she’s definitely affected by all this! I’m warning you, if you continue mistreating her like this, I’m introducing her to my adopted grandson!”
Though Harold wasn’t married, he did have an adopted grandson… Whatever the case was, Zivon couldn’t help but growl, “…I don’t joke about such things, Uncle Hal. That aside, I’m heading to the kitchen to see how she’s doing.”
“Call it whatever you like, but I speak only the truth!” grumbled Harold before returning to his own room…
Moving back to Xavia, the attractive woman could be seen standing before the kitchen stove, expertly preparing Zivon’s supper… Just as she was about to pick some noodles up, Zivon walked over while saying, “Allow me.”
