Regardless, knowing Xavia, she’d probably be even more pissed if he left the ward now…
Just as he was wondering what he should do, Harold suddenly entered the ward—with Wade by his side—and exclaimed, “Xavia!”
Before she could reply, Wade walked up to her and handed a bouquet of mesmerizing lilies to her while saying, “After Teacher told me that you were sick, I decided to come along with him. Are you feeling any better…?”
Though she was happy to see the flowers, she was even more pleased by their arrival. After all, not that they were here, she didn’t have to quarrel with Zivon. With that in mind, she was prompted to reply, “I’m feeling much better now. Thank you for the flowers…”
…Was this woman ignoring him now? Feeling slightly irked, Zivon turned to face Harold as he asked, “Why did you bring him along, Fourth Uncle?”
Harold, for one, had overheard their argument at the door… And with all the context he needed, he stroked his beard with a smile as he replied, “Well, weren’t you being all lovey-dovey with Sophia? I, for one, think you two are a match made in heaven. Besides, she’s loved you for the longest time, as seen by that video, no? Isn’t it only right for you to be with Sophia?”
“With that said, if you do end up with Sophia, Xavia will be single. I, for one, would very much prefer her and Wade to get along more if that’s the case. Who knows? They could just become lovers in the end!” concluded Harold.
His statement instantly caused Xavia’s expression to scrunch up a little. What nonsense was he spouting? Did Zivon have to reciprocate her love just because Sophia liked him? That aside, they hadn’t even considered breaking up yet! Why was Teacher jumping to such conclusions?!
Zivon himself couldn’t help but glare daggers at Harold as he replied, “…Don’t joke about such things, Fourth Uncle.”
“Oh, I’m being very serious. My dear student, it’s completely understandable if you’re angry with your boyfriend’s decision to date and dance with another woman. With that said, I’m sure you’re keen on breaking up with him, right…?” said Harold rather nonchalantly, not even caring about Zivon’s iciness.
