Pregnant and Favored: See You in the Morning, Young Master novel Chapter 1108

...And that was to instill more control on himself.

Though there had been slight improvements in their relationship lately, it was far from enough for the thirty-year-old man. As they said, even the best smoke bombs couldn’t substitute a real bomb. With that in mind, he knew that he needed to settle things with Sophia as soon as possible so that they could officially be together…

It was early the next morning when Zivon got up and headed to the gym as he usually did. While exercising, he sent Sophia a text, stating, ‘Please send me the plan that you previously mentioned, President Harrison.’

As usual, he had made sure to word it in a distant, yet polite tone. If only Zivon knew how different Sophia now appeared! At the time she received his message, the nightgown-wearing woman’s hair was in shambles, and in her right hand was a bottle of nearly finished red wine. Far from looking sharp and polished like before, all the haggard woman could do was sit on the floor looking all miserable…

“Oh, Sophia…! How long are you going to remain this way…? Please don’t scare me like this…! I had only confessed on your behalf so that you two could get closer to each other…! Why have things come to this instead…?” exclaimed a worried Dana when she saw her daughter like this.

“You don’t know a thing about him, Mom…! He doesn’t like me at all…! I had already been happy to be able to work by his side, you know?! Now that he knows my feelings for him, he’ll definitely change the way he treats me! Hell, I may not even be able to work with him anymore…! All my years of hard work…! Down the drain, just like that!” wailed the devastated Sophia as she glared at her mother.

She had worked tirelessly just to get close to Zivon over the years…! Now that he knew all this, there was no way he’d continue working with her! Why would he ever work with someone who loved him?! With all that effort gone to waste, why even live anymore…?!
