In her panic, she was prompted to reply, “…I-I’m sorry, but you have the wrong person…!”
“But-” said the bodyguard, only to be interrupted when Xavia ran right past him! By the time he turned around, she had already entered the ladies!
Realizing that he couldn’t do a thing in this situation, he sighed before heading outside to report, “…Miss Xavia ran the second she realized you were looking for her, Young Master Burton…”
“…She did, did she? Since that’s the case, drive me to the office,” said the frowning Zivon.
“…Since you’re already here, why don’t you attempt to check in on her…? She may change her mind once she hears your voice…” muttered the bodyguard.
“Forget it. She’s just avoiding me since she’s worried that someone will be jealous. There’s no point in checking in on someone like that,” growled Zivon.
“…But-”
“Enough with the cr*p, just drive already…!” retorted the displeased man as he drew the car window up. Even from the outside, the guard could already feel the rapidly plummeting temperature from within the car…
Knowing full well that nothing he said would matter anymore, the guard lowered his head before getting into the car… and shortly after, the duo drove off…
Back in the restroom, Xavia was feeling incredibly uneasy. To think that Zivon would come after her the second he learned that she was here…! Though she knew that he was here to look for an explanation, she was also aware that she wouldn’t be able to give him one. With that in mind, this was pretty much her best course of action…
With that in mind, she remained crouched in the restroom for the next two hours… and she only headed out when her plane’s boarding announcement was broadcasted.
As her plane left for Darlsbury, Sophia could be seen standing before a remote lake, a cell phone against her ear…
