“Shut up. Have you already forgotten what all of you said before this?”
Several people were speechless.
Ava said, “I don’t care what’s on your mind but it’s just a lesson this time. If there is a next time, it will never be as simple as this.”
Dismissal. Grounding. Was this still considered simple?
The few people paled as they thought inwardly that they would not dare to provoke Zivon and Jenna anymore.
Ava’s eyes fell on Zivon as she said, “Zivon, what happened this time is indeed your fault. I will call the shots. You should apologize to Jenna and this matter will be over. You both have to be lovey-dovey in the future and give birth to a second child soon.”
Zivon glanced at the quiet Xavia and pursed his lips slightly. “Mm. It was really improper for me to have misunderstood her.”
Hahaha!
Should he have said that it was improper? He clearly made a mistake.
His apology was so perfunctory and he clearly hadn’t realized his own mistake. He was just fooling his grandmother.
Xavia sneered inwardly.
Ava then held Xavia’s hand and said, “Jenna, don’t be angry anymore. It’s not good for newlyweds to quarrel and be mad at each other. Heed my advice.”
Ava’s words were a command. Furthermore, what status did she have to get angry at Zivon or hold against him?
Xavia composed her emotions and smiled. “Mm. I got it, Grandma. I’m fine as long as Zivon doesn’t misunderstand me.”
Ava said with a smile, “You’re really the most sensible. I knew that my judgment will never be wrong. Zivon and you should stay in the old mansion for the next few days. Grandma is already old and I want to enjoy some of your happiness too.”
She had to stay in the old mansion?
She had to give Jenna a blood transfusion. Absolutely not!
Xavia refused right away. “Grandma, I can’t. There is something that I have to do.”
“What is it?”
“I…” Xavia did not know how to explain herself. She could not possibly say that she was going to Lockhart Mansion, let alone donating blood.
