“I don’t know but we need to call for help,” replied Xavia as she quickly got to her feet and shook the snow off her body. Following that, she rummaged for her cell phone and eventually found it nested in a pile of snow. Unfortunately, the screen had gone fully dark!

With that in mind, Xavia was prompted to add, “…It’s all over. My cell phone is dead…”

Upon hearing that, Zivon immediately began looking for his own phone, only to hear the now desperate Xavia say, “…Have you forgotten…? You promised Maison that you wouldn’t bring your cell phone along… That way you could focus on him on his birthday…”

This realization made the trio go silent for a while. So… they really had lost all contact.

Though they were momentarily in a daze, Maison—who was the first to snap out of it—looked up before crying out, “Hello?! Is anyone out there? Please, save us! We’ve fallen into a pit!”

When she heard that, Xavia began shouting, “Help! Somebody, help!”

After staring at the yelling duo for a bit, Zivon rubbed his temple before helplessly saying, “…Don’t waste your energy. Wait till you hear someone coming before you start shouting.”

This prompted the two to go silent. As Xavia held on tightly to her child, Zivon began thinking of a way to get them out.
