Watching as Jenna turned to leave, Zivon couldn’t help but frown slightly when he heard her talk about Maison. Shaking his head, Zivon then began making his way to his room…

As was expected, Maison was sitting at the corner of his bed in the dimly lit room, a gloomy expression on his small face. After all, not only had he lost Yulia without warning, but also his favorite aunt… How depressing…

Understanding how his son felt, Zivon then walked over before comforting in a soft tone, “You know, you can still video call or watch her do live broadcasts whenever you miss her.”

Raising his head, Maison—who had clearly been sobbing—then turned to look at his father before saying, “I’m not angry because Aunt had to leave… It’s just… She left without even saying goodbye… Without even telling me that she was heading off… It’s like she doesn’t care about me at all…”

As tears began rolling down Maison’s cheeks again, Zivon couldn’t help but look down. After all, he was feeling the same thing, and it was honestly heart-wrenching that his son was feeling the same.

Patting Maison on the head, Zivon replied, “…Perhaps she had her reasons for not being able to say her final goodbye. Even if that isn’t the case, why should you be upset for someone who doesn’t care about you?”

Upon hearing that, Maison felt his tears slow down as he turned to look at Zivon with his reddened eyes. As usual, his father’s words sort of made sense. Then again, Zivon had always told him not to waste his energy on those who didn’t deserve it… Even so, the thought of Xavia still made him extremely sad!

With that, tears began falling again, resulting in the saddened boy’s wails echoing across the villa…

Unbeknownst to the duo, Jenna had been eavesdropping on their entire conversation from the corridor. After hearing what Maison had to say, she couldn’t help but clench her fist.

It was already bad enough that Zivon was treating Xavia differently. To think that even Maison would end up becoming so enchanted by her sister that he’d cry this miserably! With a hint of viciousness in her eyes, Jenna then headed downstairs…
