Pregnant and Favored: See You in the Morning, Young Master novel Chapter 636

“…Do you know the details of their argument?” asked Keith who wanted to find out whether all this was the child’s idea, or whether it was Zivon’s plan to have the boy get in the way of their relationship.

Regardless, Xavia then replied, “Well… Yulia ran into Uncle Zivon’s courtyard earlier, and Uncle was fierce to her… I’m assuming Maison reprimanded his father after I took Yulia away, resulting in Uncle getting so angry that he sent Maison away as well…”

…It was that simple? Following a slight glint in Keith’s eyes, he quickly said, “I don’t really mind if Maison wants to stay here… though I don’t think it’ll be too good for you.”

“…Oh? Why not?” asked Xavia who—even though she agreed with Keith—wanted to know how he saw the situation.

“Well… for one, Jenna will definitely misunderstand the situation. She’s already convinced that you’re after Uncle Zivon, which was why she was so opposed to you staying in Darlsbury. In fact, the decision to have you stay at my place was just so that Jenna would finally understand that you’re not interested in him!”

“That aside, though everyone sees us as close lovers, I didn’t want to force you to do anything against your will, which was why I prepared a separate room for you. However, if our relationship goes well and you ever feel the urge to stay in my room, feel free to say so… Speaking of staying together, if Maison realizes that we aren’t sleeping in the same room and tells Jenna, Uncle Zivon, or anyone else, it could leave us in a dire situation…”

Though Xavia agreed with his first point, she had to admit that she hadn’t even considered his second point.

True enough, she wanted to draw a clear line between her, Zivon, and Jenna so that she could finally fulfill her promise. In order to achieve that, being in a relationship with Keith was the best way for her to do so.

Speaking of Keith, she was truly grateful for all his help. Regardless of whether there’d be any development between them in the future, she wanted to do her best to repay the favor and get along with him without causing too much trouble. With all that said, it really wasn’t suitable to have Maison stay here with them…

Her mind now made up, Xavia was prompted to ask, “Shall… I send Maison back, then?”

“There’s no rush. I suggest that we have the child stay here for two days first. However, during that period, you should stay in my room. That way, we can make sure that the child doesn’t spread news that we aren’t actually sleeping together around. My question is, are you willing to partake in the plan, Third Young Lady?” asked Keith in a gentlemanly tone that didn’t sound oppressive at all.

Xavia, for one, didn’t mind staying with him when he was being this considerate. After all, it was far better than her rotting in prison…
