Chapter 43: Chapter 43 Is it so hard to ask me?

Chapter 43 -43 Is it so hard to ask me?

Unfortunately, the last person Lin Zhiyi ever wanted to ask for help was Gong Chen.

She withdrew her gaze, looked at the white liquor in front of her, and downed it in one go.

The teacup that Gong Chen had brought to his lips suddenly stopped, and his stern figure radiated a chilling aura.

However, the three men in front of Lin Zhiyi failed to notice the awkward atmosphere and continued to laugh and joke.

“Junior sister sure can hold her liquor, come on, have another drink with me.”

“You drank theirs, you must drink mine too! Otherwise, it means you don’t give me face!”

Just like that, Lin Zhiyi was forced to gulp down three large cups of alcohol.

Her throat was so spicy that she couldn’t even speak, and her hands were too weak to clench into fists.

Her cheeks were flushed, her already stunning face now resembling ripe cherries, shining enticingly and making the surrounding men’s eyes gleam like hungry wolves.

The three men exchanged glances and leered at her, but because the headmaster and Gong Chen were present, they dared not go too far.

So, they planned to first get Lin Zhiyi drunk and then find an excuse to take her away later.

The man sitting beside Lin Zhiyi poured her another drink, while seemingly casually placing his hand on the back of her chair, occasionally stroking her back. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm

“Junior sister, I heard you won second place in the competition; we should celebrate properly. Come on, let’s have another drink.”

Lin Zhiyi endured the nausea, shifted her body, and dodged his hand.

He took advantage of the moment to wrap his arm around her shoulder, trapping her from escaping, then leaned his greasy cheek toward her with a sneer, the smell of alcohol and strong tobacco intermingling, almost making Lin Zhiyi vomit.

He even attempted to rub his face against the skin of her shoulder, despite Lin Zhiyi’s resistance…

With a swish, Lin Zhiyi pushed the man away and stood up, but she didn’t want to spoil the school’s celebration banquet.

“I need to go to the restroom.”

She staggered out of the private room, dizzy and unsteady on her feet.

Lin Zhiyi hid in the restroom, splashing her face with cold water to regain a semblance of reason.

After thinking for a moment, she took out her phone and set a timer.

Then she rubbed her head, forcing herself to stay alert as she left the restroom.

The next instant, Lin Zhiyi felt her head spin, and an arm wrapped around her waist, effortlessly taking her to a hidden corner next to the restroom.

Beside them, large plants cast a dim light on the man’s dark suit.

“Is asking for my help that difficult?”

A deep, magnetic voice sounded above Lin Zhiyi’s head, laced with a nearly imperceptible chill, while his half-closed eyes revealed a dangerous undercurrent. His expression was unabashedly possessive.

She raised her hand to struggle, but the drunkenness weakened her limbs, and her efforts to hit him were negligible to the man.

He watched her futilely struggle for a bit before he seized her shoulders, his ring cold as it grazed her skin.

Soon, Lin Zhiyi’s shoulders reddened and ached; she shrunk back, trying to evade the man’s approach.

“Let go… mm…”

Before she could finish speaking, a strong hand gripped the back of her head, preventing her from resisting.

The man in front of her seized the opportunity to kiss her, grinding his lips against hers a few times, but she refused to part her teeth, so he pressed harder.

Lin Zhiyi’s eyes widened as she bit down hard on his lip.

The taste of blood filled their mouths, yet he didn’t care and took the chance to pry open her teeth, slipping something into her mouth with his tongue.

Lin Zhiyi swallowed reflexively, and a few seconds later, the spasm from her throat to her stomach ceased.

She was stunned, giving the man a chance to entwine her further.

His kiss nearly suffocated her, her head growing dizzy, and when she attempted to move, her hands were firmly clasped by his.

Neither of them noticed a pair of high heels quietly stepping back from behind the greenery.

It was a long while before the man finally let go of Lin Zhiyi.

She slumped against the wall, her breathing rapid, her reddened lips parting and closing, pushing the man’s self-control to the edge of reason.
