That day, Felicia wasn't wearing her usual black-framed glasses for work. Instead, she wore contact lenses, which made her beautiful face stand out even more. Her charm was significantly enhanced by her white blouse and black pencil skirt, which hugged her curves.
It was no surprise that people kept approaching her.
I finally understood why she always downplayed her appearance. She was probably tired of all the unwanted attention.
Just as I was about to approach her, I saw the same group of women who were with Elaine earlier walking toward Felicia.
I didn't want to face Elaine, so I decided to wait until they finished talking to Felicia before heading over.
To my surprise, Elaine raised her hand and slapped the man who had been bothering Felicia.
The man stood there in shock. His face twisted in confusion and anger, but he didn't retaliate. Instead, he covered his cheek and lowered his head.
"How dare you hit on another woman right in front of me? Do you think I don't exist?" Lainey glared at him fiercely and even grabbed his collar, pulling him closer as she demanded an answer.
The man stammered, "I-I wasn't hitting on her! She's the one who was flirting with me!"
"Oh?" Lainey turned her glare toward Felicia. In a panic, Felicia quickly waved her hands. "No, no! I didn't! I don't even know him! I've been sitting here the whole time. How could I have flirted with him?"
Lainey loosened her grip on the man's collar and looked at Felicia. Then, she slapped Felicia across the face.
I froze in shock.
I thought that these ladies were going over to greet Felicia and help her out, but they were actually attacking her.
