After dealing with Remy last night, I asked Mason to check Remy's background. As it turned out, he was the grandson of the Chancellor's second uncle.

This wasn't a secret, but not many knew about it, even amongst the teachers. But judging from Tom's expression, I was sure that he knew.

Tom was stumped for words. After a long while, he stammered in surprise, "H-How did you find out?"

I beamed innocently and brightly. "Would you believe it if I told you that it was my guess?"

Tom was too shocked to say anything as he looked at my smile. About a minute later, he said, "Even if that's true, you can't deny that you whipped out a knife in public.

"That's a controlled item. Why did you bring such a dangerous item with you?"

"If the campus could guarantee my safety, I wouldn't have it with me. But sir, since you know about the incident yesterday, then you should realize just how unsafe the male dorms are," I argued righteously.

When I stepped into the office, I had no plans of being humble.

"Do you think it's okay if I have nothing to defend myself with? What should I do if I run into the same situation as yesterday? Would I have been able to protect myself with empty fists?

"If you think my opinions aren't objective, let's ask the media to be the judge. Should I bring a tool for self-defense or not?"

As they always said, "The squeaky wheel gets the grease."

This was true everywhere, even on campus. The reward for being a well-behaved student was simply avoiding bullies and graduating peacefully, even after being taken advantage of a few times.

Or, for the less fortunate, the bullies would torment them relentlessly until graduation, leaving them with no one to turn to for help.

If anyone were unlucky and turned into the latter, I'd advise them to have a weapon to protect themselves. More often than not, justice and legislation weren't fair, so we had to rely on ourselves.
