"The power of lightning attack from the first rank magic core is not very strong," Samuel said slowly. "Against ordinary people, you can still win with it. But if you face the more powerful magic beasts or magic warriors, you won’t be able to do anything to them with the power of this magic core."
The power from a rank 1 magic core was limited. Rather than using them to make weapon, it would be more cost effective to use it for something else.
In that world, there was no electricity concept.
But they could use electricity for various other things, which was why the runes existed and also brought many conveniences for them.
"Then if there’s a rank 2 magic core in the future, I’ll reserve this request!" Amelia immediately said.
Samuel thought about the power of a rank 2 magic core and then turned to look at Riya. "Can your runes handle the power of a rank 2 magic core?"
Riya looked at Samuel quietly.
She had reached rank 4 and any magic core below this rank was nothing to her. Even rank 4 magic cores could be carved with runes by Riya if she wanted to. As for rank 5 magic core, she would have to be more careful until she reached rank 5 where her mana amount would be enough for it.
"Runes carving depends on the rune master’s rank," Riya said slowly.
In other words, if they wanted her to make runes on a second rank magic core, she had to reach rank 2 first.
Samuel nodded. "If you need training resources, you can say."
"You can’t provide it." Riya shook her head.
What she needed was nothing more than these magic stones used for making formations and other things. These things were not something that Samuel could possibly provide, so Riya would not ask for these.
Hearing this, Samuel arched his eyebrows. He smiled faintly. "You can try to ask."
Riya raised her head and saw Samuel’s look. For some reasons, she felt that he was being provoked and was eager to show off his ability.
She blinked her eyes.
For a mature person like Samuel, it shouldn’t be, right?
Besides, she didn’t mean to provoke him and only stated a fact.
While Riya was not sure, Amelia interjected, "What’s your rank now, Riya?"
"I’m not sure, depends on how your ranking is," Riya replied. She guessed that there would be some changes in the standard considering how these people who worked with the military were all warriors and magic warrior.
Were there any pure mage?
She was not sure.
Samuel glanced at Riya once more before picking up the magic core and stood up. "Go with Amelia to the canteen to deliver the water element magic core. You’re free to do whatever you want during this period of time. Tomorrow, we’ll depart."
"Ok."
"Yes."
