Ruben looked dumbfounded at the ordinary well that seemed to be painted with strange painting by Riya in front of him in confusion. If he had to say, he really didn’t understand what Riya was doing.
It didn’t seem to look any different.
Only Samuel was looking at the well in front of him thoughtfully and then asked, "Do you need any magic cores?"
The five stones formation required five non elemental magic core to be placed above the stone. And that formation could only last for half a month at most, which was quite taxing to make.
"Yes, one non elemental magic core," Riya replied and tapped the top of the pipe that was close to the well. "Just place it here and remember to replace it every half a month since I estimated that you will use it continuously for 24 hours a day."
"Ok." Samuel took out one non elemental magic core while Ruben moved the board to the top of the well.
Riya tapped the board and then started to draw on top of the board for a while before she put away her jade stone. On the other hand, Samuel ordered Ruben to direct the water again.
After the water come out again, they seemed to see some differences.
Normally, the water that came out would still be mixed with some dirt and they would need to distill and boil it for consumption.
But the water that came out from the pipe was very clear.
"Wow, so it does work?" Ruben asked, his eyes were shining.
Riya rolled her eyes. "Do you doubt me?"
"No, no, no." Ruben had the feeling that if he dared to say ’yes,’ someone’s fist will be thrown to his face and his handsome face might not be able to be saved.
Riya snorted and then pointed to the top of the well. "Take a large rock… the heaviest you can carry and then put it here."
"Huh?" Ruben was stunned. "But that’s just an ordinary board. Even though it’s specifically processed to make it stronger, it can’t handle a lot of weight."
"Just do it."
"That…" Ruben turned to look at Samuel and seeing his friend nodded, he could only come to the mountain and try to find some rocks. There should be some big rocks in the other side but it was quite far.
He sighed that being Samuel’s assistant was really not easy.
Riya shook her head and then glanced at Samuel. "Do you want to try the water?"
"No, I can bring it for testing later but it should work because I can sense the pure mana that’s not violent," Samuel replied calmly. He would order people to clean up the prepared pool and then bring the water inside. The speed of the water flow was not that fast, but it was enough for them to get quite a lot of water every day. At the very least, the number of people in City A Base was not that many and this amount of water would be enough.
It was quite good.
"Ok." Riya nodded when she heard Samuel’s words. This meant that he felt that the result should be good. Comprehensive test had to be done later but for the time being, it was enough.
"Do you think I can draw the runes?" Samuel suddenly asked.
