"Rank 5?"
When everyone heard the rank of the special magic core, they were stunned and greed appeared in their eyes.
They all knew that Samuel and the others were already above rank 3, but they didn't know the specific rank. Now that there was a chance for them to reach rank 4 directly, who didn't want it?
"How do you know it's rank 5?"
"The mana fluctuation is quite obvious." Peter rubbed his nose.
Samuel nodded.
He also knew it was rank 5.
"Is there any drawback from using the special magic core?" The leader asked again.
"No, there's no drawback aside from having special petal mark somewhere on your body," Peter replied. "There might be consequences for people at higher level, but I don't know for sure since I'm not a magician."
"I haven't heard of anything like that." Samuel rubbed his chin.
Since he has a very powerful family in that world, Samuel could know more information than ordinary people. Naturally, he also knew that there were many people who often used the special magic core to raise their mana.
Even magic warriors could use it, so it was also very attractive to them.
When he was there, his family members also said that if he could find any special magic core, he could absorb it into his body. The special petal marks doesn't really mean anything aside from letting others know that you have once taken it.
As for where it appear, everyone is usually different.
Some appear in the arm, some appear on their chest, some appear on their back.
The most miserable would be someone who had it on their face because it would be harder to hide it unless they cover up their face forever.
"In that case, we need to think of a way to take it," the leader said quietly.
Samuel frowned. "I don't think that it's possible for you to do so… unless you want to trigger the formation and might die on the spot."
Considering a large number of magic beasts would come because of it, Samuel didn't really think that it would be a good idea for them to take it. Even if they wanted to be greedy for resources, they needed to have life to enjoy it.
Otherwise, it would be useless.
"Oh?" The leader looked at Samuel suspiciously.
Samuel didn't bother to look at the other party and walked away.
He had told his family members about his trip to the crack and also his finding about the pillar to his father, but he didn't have any plan to tell others about this because Samuel felt that it was unnecessary. The more people who knew about this, the more they would want to ask him about the rune master and so on.
Samuel had more than enough trouble as it is.
He didn't want more people to pester him.
"Well, most special magic cores exist in dangerous place," Peter said to the leader beside him. "So even if you want to take it, I don't think it'll be that easy."
He never dared to take those special magic cores when he was in that world.
Too dangerous!
The leader nodded in understanding after hearing Peter's words. "I see."
