Amelia and Riya moved the furniture while Ruby stayed in the kitchen. They didn’t move everything and while they were moving things around, Riya silently made some magic runes and also formation for the building to hold on.
Even if the building still looked sturdy, it was actually also on the verge of collapsing.
Riya couldn’t reach downstairs, so she simply made a formation to protect the entire fourth floor. After all, it was all that she could do without attracting suspicion from others about her action.
Before long, they were done.
The table were moved to the stairs and there was also a cupboard blocking the window on Ruby’s room. Even if they didn’t plan to stay there, they didn’t want these magic beasts to come from outside.
Once it was done, they gathered to eat something.
Ruby had prepared the food, mostly the vegetables and also some egg plus rice. It was not much but it was still something.
"Is it dangerous to use the electricity?" Amelia asked.
"There’s definitely some risk to use it, but in this situation, there’s not much we can do." Ruby shook her head.
After busying herself and thinking things through, Ruby had calmed down. She knew that there were some risks in staying here and using these equipment, but they didn’t have many choices.
If they wanted to come out, they would have to face those magic beasts.
And it was definitely not something that a weak girl like her could do.
Amelia and Riya were stronger than her, but Ruby was not sure about the strength of these magic beasts, so she couldn’t let them take any risk either.
She didn’t want to lose her friends.
In that case, the solution was for them to stay here and wait.
How long?
She didn’t know.
"Then, what are we going to do now?" Amelia asked again.
Riya glanced at Amelia and then said, "Training."
"Training?" The other two looked at Riya in confusion.
In fact, it was only after setting the formation that Riya realized the earthquake didn’t only brought those magic beasts out from the ground. But at the same time, Riya could sense that the mana in the air had increased several folds compared to before.
Even though it was still far from comparable to the other world, but the concentration of mana in the current world was already more than enough for them to do many things.
