Judy’s POV
“You’ll be able to leave by tomorrow morning. Everything is looking good, Judy. However, did you know that you are pregnant?” Dr. Jasper asked. My heart stopped at his words; of course, I already knew that I was pregnant, but the reminder of it was gut-wrenching. I had known that I was pregnant, and because of that, I put my baby in danger. A baby, I wasn’t even sure I wanted until I almost lost it.
I put my hand on my belly and closed my eyes; I tried to feel some kind of connection with the fetus, but I felt nothing yet. I wasn’t even showing. I knew most of the changes won’t happen until I’m 4 months pregnant. That’s when I’ll start to show, and that’s when my wolf would refuse to shift out of protection of her young pup. That’s also when the baby’s father, granted he was in the same area, would recognize the baby as his.
I trembled at the thought; I wouldn’t put my baby through that emotional heartbreak. I would never have this baby feeling unwanted by someone who is supposed to love them unconditionally. I wanted to cry, but I refused to do so in front of anyone I wasn’t comfortable with.
“Judy?” Dr. Jasper asked again, drawing my attention to the present moment. I blinked a few times, adjusting my eyes to him as he stood in front of me, clipboard in hand.
I passed out yesterday after I escaped the explosion in the forest, and I was brought to the pack hospital by some of the other gamma warriors. I wasn’t out for long because of my wolf’s natural healing abilities. But it was long enough to concern the doctors and kept me for overnight observation.
“Uh… yeah,” I told him; I knew there was no use in lying to him. The doctor who did the pregnancy test most likely kept a record of the results, and that was something Dr. Jasper would see if he looked further in my chart. “I know I’m pregnant.”
He frowned as he stared at me, cocking his head to the side.
“Does the Alpha know?”
I bit my lower lip, staring at the ground and refusing to meet his eyes. He would see the truth in the truth immediately if I looked at him.
“Of course he does,” I lied through my teeth.
I could feel myself melting under his scrutiny.
“Does he? Because that’s surprising. He would never let you go on post last night if he knew you were pregnant. That’s a huge liability and plus in about 2 months, you won’t be able to shift until you give birth, not to mention you’ll be showing. You won’t be beneficial for your team.”

Wait how has this back and forth nonsense with Gavin been happening for two years?! I can only bet the next two chapters will be a repeat of these last two, but from Gavins POV - walking to the condo with Sampson and actually no further development. It’s wild. We just want them to spill the truth and stop hurting! She’ll probably still lie about the baby’s father and won’t be resolved for another 100 chapters. It’s so painful but why do I keep coming back. Haha...
It’s official I AM SICK OF JUDY AND TIRED OF GAVIN!!!!! These two are the most clueless, immature, emotionally stunted Gamma “WARRIOR “ and ALPHA of all time! At this point let’s wrap this story up, it’s so far removed from the story I started that it’s annoying...
The man ghosted her, he knows she thinks Rachel is having his baby and still he acts CLUELESS as to why she’s upset!...
When is this story going to end? I want Judy and Gavin to get their happy ending....
This is frustrating… where is the middle of the story. It continues to drag and have a continuation.. why can’t they figure out Levi & Lila planned the attacks so they can kill both Gavin and Judy? Watch.. one of them will die and then the truth comes out and too late.. Give this a peak and ending already!!!!!...
Spoiler alert! The next 2 chapters will be Gavin’s POV starting when he got the gammas to leave, and end with how angry he was she was pregnant. And we’ll be right where we are now, with no real update. Then the next 2 chapters will be from someone else’s POV, essentially still leaving us hanging....

Is this story ever going to have an ending? I have a feeling this baby story is going to drag out. She’ll tell Gavin it’s Spencer’s baby. Lucy won’t say anything. Since they have the masking spray, Gavin won’t be able to smell it’s his. Can it be that they get back together, they go back to Gavin’s pack and we start finding about what’s going on with the others, like Nan, Chester…then have them fight Levi together. That or release more than 2 “chapters” at a time. The way this story is dragging out, it’s going to end up being 1000+ chapters if not more. I’d rather give my time reading a story by an author that has a good story, a beginning, a middle, and an end and doesn’t just let things drag on. I’m just losing patience as I’m sure like others, this isn’t the only ongoing story being read....
I can't read chapters 69 and 70, they are the exact same as chapter 68. Anyone else?...
