Kyle rode on top of Skweera and watched the landscape go by.
During their journey, Kyle saw a gigantic beast that was curled around a mountain.
That thing looked like a brown snake with two gigantic claws, and it had to be over 200 meters long.
"Oh, she's still there," Theodor said.
Kyle just raised an eyebrow.
Naturally, Theodor noticed.
"That's the Grand Mountain Wyrm," Theodor answered. "She was already there when I was still alive. Back then, she was an Initial Monster. Based on her size, she has grown more powerful since then."
"She once tried to attack me. Do you see that chip in the mountain?"
Kyle looked over and noticed that the mountain seemed a bit uneven.
Its tip was not in the middle but on the left side. It looked like the mountain top should be a bit higher and centered.
"That was Sulfur. She attacked us, and Sulfur slapped her against the mountain. If I weren't bound by the laws, I would have had Sulfur kill her for the insult of daring to attack me."
In Kyle's mind, he imagined the scene of the gigantic serpent charging at Theodor from the mountain.
Then, Sulfur just stepped between them, apologized politely, and slapped her into the distance.
The serpent hit the mountaintop, breaking it.
Meanwhile, Theodor laughed. "She never dared to attack me again after that. I even made sure to travel extra slowly through her territory to taunt her."
Kyle acted like he was coughing.
"What if it attacked with its new power?" he asked.
After all, the serpent had become stronger with age, according to Theodor.
"Barely any difference," Theodor answered. "The only difference would be that Granite would be the one to put her into her place instead of Sulfur."
Kyle remembered the golem that had performed the ritual on him.
According to Theodor, Granite was his most powerful golem.
As they passed by the mountain, Kyle looked at the mountain with mixed emotions.
'Wish I could be this strong.'
'But how?'
'Theodor could destroy mountains.'
'Meanwhile, it takes me days just to make a tunnel through one.'
Naturally, there were no powerful beasts who dared to venture into the Grand Mountain Wyrm's territory.
Kyle only saw an occasional beast in the First Realm, but those didn't dare to attack due to Skweera's presence.
"Do you know about the legends regarding the Grand Mountain Wyrm?" Selene asked.
"No," Kyle answered.
"Legends say that the Grand Mountain Wyrm used to be more aggressive towards humans, but one day, it attacked a powerful person. The powerful person pushed the Grand Mountain Wyrm back. The powerful person could have killed the Grand Mountain Wyrm, but that person was peaceful and abhorred violence, which is why they let the Wyrm live."
"The Grand Mountain Wyrm was so inspired by that person's good heart that it swore to never attack another human again," Selene said.
Kyle was taken aback while Theodor snorted in disgust.
"What nonsense!" Theodor shouted. "The only reason why I didn't kill it was because it created a safe pathway! Everyone in the Third Realm is not allowed to kill beasts that create safe pathways!"
Kyle had to hold back a laugh.
Theodor…
Good heart…
Peaceful…
Abhorred violence…
"Is something the matter?" Selene asked, noticing Kyle's weird expression.
"No, nothing," Kyle said in a high voice, trying his best to stop himself from laughing.
Selene just looked at Kyle with concern.
They continued traveling, and Kyle saw another huge beast.
This one was a gigantic black cat with eight legs lying in the sun.
This thing was probably 50 meters long and looked quite intimidating.
"That one is new," Theodor commented.
The cat lazily opened its eyes and looked at Kyle and Selene.
For just a moment, Kyle grew nervous.
