Archibald’s behaviour of calling her nickname made Lilian’s heart keep pounding. What happened on that night passed over her head and she couldn’t help flushing when thinking of it. Her hand slowly grabbed his suit and she could hear her own heartbeat, quickly and in a mess.
Lillian blinked her eyes to stop thinking about those memory fragments. In a short time, all things left in her eyes were relief and sarcasm, “Archibald, are you trying to say that you will be responsible for what happened on that night?” Lillian pushed him away and looked up at him.
However, Archibald still gazed at her from above in a short distance. He curled up his lip and asked, “Why not? I have told you I won’t start a relationship with someone easily, and once I start, I will be responsible.”
“But I don’t even like you. It’s just an accident, and you don’t need to be responsible for an accident! I don’t need you to!”
“Then maybe you can be responsible for me.”
“You!” Lillian didn’t know how to respond him and could only reply, “Archibald, why are you doing this to me? It’s impossible for us to be together.”
“Why? Just give me a reason. There is nothing wrong for us to be together!” Archibald quickly asked her, trying to get an answer.
She clenched her fists more tightly, making the vein especially clear. She almost yelled out: I already have a husband!
However, Lillian held herself up because telling him what happened would only cause trouble. Besides, why should she tell him?
Archibald seemed to be anxious and asked, “Tell me the truth! Why can’t you?”
Lillian was bothered by him and wanted to rebel. Why did he try to push her? It was only an accident for them to have sex. Why couldn’t him simply let her go?
She used all of her strength to push him away, secured herself from his siege, and hurriedly ran towards the door.
“Archibald, that’s enough. I don’t care what conspiracy you have. I can’t play with you anymore and don’t involve me in!” She ran away after saying this and didn’t want to argue with him.
Lillian recalled the time she spent with Archibald and found he was always the man behind who could let things go as he wish. His harmless and gentle appearance was opposite to his true personality, which brought her a sense of tension, as if she was a trapped animal and would be hunted at any time!
Lillian was afraid of this feeling.
Archibald didn’t chase her, instead, when seeing she went away, all of his aggressive mood were gone. He turned to look outside the window and light covered inside his eyes. He curled his lip and sighed. He was so close to make her confess. Lillian was really good at keep the secret, which meant he had to do more to let her trust him.
Lillian had run a ling way before she finally stopped. After the intense feeling going away, she breathed in relief and went against the wall weakly.
It was dark in the room and no light went in with the cover of thick curtain, depressed and toneless.
The girl on the bed moved slightly and then remained still. After a short while, she suddenly stood up.
She was surrounded by endless darkness. It was in her dream that she was swallowed by the darkness. When realizing this, she hurriedly turned on the light. The light was shining bright, making she see clearly what was going on.
“Ah!” On that day, in a single room of a hotel, a woman’s sharp voice came. On that day, people saw a woman strode her way with dishevelled hair. She went through the crowd and lots of cars, seeming to be blind of whisking cars.
Nobody recognized that she was the cherished woman of Sebastian. Joanna, an elegant actress who was the most popular star in the Palmer Media Ltd..
She was lying in the bathtub with a pair of hollow eyes and remained the same gesture for a long time when water kept pouring in.
When the water went above her neck, above her mouth and got closer and closer to her nose, she remained still as if having lost her senses.
The sounds of water that pouring to the bathtub combined with that pouring from the bathtub. Joanna seemed to experience what happened on that night in her illusion, when the muscular man walked towards her and untied the rope around her ankle.
She had never experienced that feeing and wished to pass out. However, the drug inside her body was destroy her nerve. The man, who probably had served lots of women, started to raise her primitive desire.
He was so good at flirting that she gradually lost herself under drug effect.
Jonna had forgotten how crazy that night was. However, marks on her body kept reminding her that it was not a dream!
She wished to use a knife to get rid of those marks and refused to see those disgusting marks even her flesh was hurt by the knife!
