Several blue-skinned figures emerged from the back of the mines. They all looked fierce and hostile.
Among them was the leader of the group. He stood imposingly but he hadn't attacked Darren yet.
"Who are you? How dare you come and create trouble?"
Darren simply ignored him and headed straight into the mines.
"Young man, you are trespassing into the property of the Space-time Palace. The three major clans have a deal with us so now this area belongs to us. We can kill you now if we wish, and the three clans won't be able to do anything about it."
Darren finally turned around to face the leader defiantly. "Really? Are you saying that the three clans gave you this land?"
"Of course. It's impossible for them to refuse. If they dare say no, we'll not only capture miners but we'll also have them all executed."
At that, Darren sneered. During their conversation, he had probed the ores using his spiritual sense and noted that none of them seemed special.
This puzzled him.
But since he had made a promise to the miners, he would make sure that he got them out of there. So he had to compromise. These ores weren't so special after all.
"How about this? These are my friends. If you let them go, I will stay out of your business."
"Hey, you..."
The men broke out in cold sweat upon hearing Darren's demands. If he claimed that they were friends, the blue-skinned men would know that they brought him there.
They were so full of dread that they were almost in tears.
"Who the hell are you? We have shown you great kindness by not killing you and yet you dare make such request?
Come here and watch as we kill all the slaves who brought an outsider into the mines. We'll not only execute them, but we'll also kill their whole family. We'll punish them all!"
one of the blue-skinned men bellowed.
The miners then fell down on their knees, crying out, "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry!" For so long, they had been working hard just so they could go home and reunite with their families.
But their plans had gone to waste. They were to be executed, and what was worse, their families were to be punished as well.
Darren, on the other hand, was unfazed. "Humph. This is for you, then."
Shooting out his blade and sword intents silently, he charged towards the head of the blue-skinned man. With a swift slice, the blue-skinned man collapsed.
"Ah!"
"What!"
Everyone was astonished by the scene. They couldn't believe their eyes when their companion, a six-star level grand warrior, had just died in an instant.
"Who the hell are you?" they all demanded.
The leader of the group of blue-skinned men summoned up a mighty roar. Such display of strength showed that the intruder was definitely the top-level seven-star general of the three clans.
"Cut the crap. It doesn't matter who I am. But you will release my friends and all the miners in here right this moment or else all of you will die by my hands," Darren threatened. His face was dark and serious. His intent was hostile.
"Such tone! Wait and see.
Our captain will teach you a lesson." As soon as those words were uttered, one of the blue-skinned men perked up.
"Sir, I've sent the message."
"Humph!" The blue-skinned leader snorted, showing no fear for Darren.
But the time for talking was done. Darren no longer had the patience to listen to them any longer. These people had enslaved others. Now, they deserved to die.
Moreover, the blue-skinned men tried to capture Darren and Elsa back then.
"Go to hell!"
A storm of blade and sword intents swept over the area.
It pierced, stabbed and sliced through the blue-skinned men until everyone was shredded to pieces.
All the miners in the area watched the bloodbath in horror and shock.
This young man was truly powerful. He had killed a seven-star grand warrior with just a single blow.
They all knelt down before him.
"We're finally saved!"
"Thank you, sir! Thank you!"
They all rejoiced. Most were crying out in joy.
"Get up, all of you! You can now leave this place and go home!" Darren shouted.
