Anya's expression softened at the mention of Jeremy. "He was good to me before you came into the picture. Even so, I knew he didn't do it out of love for me. He was just trying to pay me back for saving him.

You see, not only do both of our families hold a grudge against each other, but Rivera Group is Holden Group's biggest competitor. There were a few instances where he was able to easily outbid my brother for multi-million projects by using the information I gave him."

This book is getting boring now. I loved Jeremy, Corinne, Sonny and Lucas. The story needs to end. or bring back more of Jeremy, etc....
I haven't skipped any chapter at all. Though the story is good, it keeps going back to base one. I think this has no ending at all and somehow after reading more than 2500 chapters it's kinda tiring already. They have drained all the thrills....
