Annie reeled in shock at Corinne's response. She frowned and asked, "Why?"
She thought Corinne would be happy and give her blessing to her and Aaron.
"The two of you aren't compatible. You'll end up hurt if you marry him."
"Why does it sound like you have a bias against Aaron? He sees you as his family, but it seems like you see him as a dirtbag."
Corinne sighed. "It's not called bias when I know him so well. I watched him grow up, so I know just how many broken hearts he left in his wake. He's important to me as a friend and as a family, but he won't make a good husband."
Annie was stunned. She blinked in disbelief. "He's been with many women?"
"Yes. Loads."
"Can you give me a number?"
Corinne frowned. "He's twenty-three years old this year. And from the age of eighteen, he'd change to a new girlfriend every week. You do the math."
"That is a lot…" murmured Annie disappointedly.
Corinne patted Annie's shoulder. "Well, at least you found out before things got serious. Just ignore him from now on, and remember not to believe anything he says. They're all lies."

This book is getting boring now. I loved Jeremy, Corinne, Sonny and Lucas. The story needs to end. or bring back more of Jeremy, etc....
I haven't skipped any chapter at all. Though the story is good, it keeps going back to base one. I think this has no ending at all and somehow after reading more than 2500 chapters it's kinda tiring already. They have drained all the thrills....

my heart breaks for melody, so many ups and downs, i shed a few tears when lucas walked by melody carrying thalia, and melody stayed quiet while watching them leave. i find myself getting into character as if im one. i dont remember ever feeling like that in any other books. im thankful the 10 chapters/day. waiting for the next 10...
