“Aunt Mila, Madam Celeste, Madam Sasha, Amelia.” Arnold greeted them with a warm smile.

“Arnold, where are you going?” Amelia asked curiously.

“Botvia has a famous pastry store. I thought I’d buy some and let everyone have a taste.”

“Great! We’ll get to have pastries, all thanks to Asher!” Amelia clapped her hands in delight.

She did not consider Arnold an outsider, speaking without any filter.

A slightly awkward smile appeared on Arnold’s face. He waved his hand and left while humming a tune.

When he passed by Mila, she sensitively noticed a certain mark on her nephew. Her gaze briefly swept through his chest. Peeking out of his V-neck shirt were some faint red marks that made her cheeks flush.

“Sigh… They’re indeed youngsters, so full of energy.” Mila picked up a teacup, smiling ambiguously.

“Mila, what did you say?” Celeste did not catch it and looked at her in confusion.

Mila waved her hand awkwardly. “Oh… Haha, it’s nothing. Come, let’s drink!”

Before coming to Botvia, Asher once casually mentioned a famous local Michelin-star pastry shop that sold delicious treats. Arnold secretly noted it down and wanted to buy some tonight, keep it hidden, and give his man a surprise the next morning.

Arnold braced the biting cold for quite a while before finding the shop. His ears were red from the cold when he entered the door, and he could not even bend his fingers.

After making a satisfying purchase, he paid and held two big bags of pastries as he walked out the door happily.
