Horace didn’t argue and simply agreed.

At the same moment, Stanley and Horace both released Wendy.

Wendy wavered, her legs giving way beneath her.

Stanley was quick to step forward, catching her in his arms. “Wendy, what’s wrong?”

“I’m dizzy,” Wendy murmured.

Without hesitation, Stanley lifted Wendy in his arms and said, “I’ll take you somewhere to rest.”

Stanley carried her out of the room.

Horace, watching from behind, called out, “Wendy can’t leave.”

The butler immediately responded, “Mr. Hawk, please let Ms. Wendy rest in this room.”

Stanley carried Wendy into the room, gently laying her down on the soft bed. “Let me get you some water.”

He poured a glass of water for her.
