The Lady Nun Seeks Justice (Eliza Stonor) novel Chapter 562

562.Chapter 562

Louisa snapped, “Shut up!”

Stung by Rafe’s words, Louisa’s expression darkened, and she shot him a fierce glare, saying, “I’m here only because of an accident. Instead of worrying about me, maybe you should focus on yourself.”

She glanced at the gruesome sight behind Rafe, coldly sneering, “After all, my father is nothing like your worthless father.”

Louisa was certain her father would come for her soon enough.

Rafe’s eyes narrowed with cold malice as he stared at her, “If you keep linking me with this monster, believe me, before your father gets here, I’ll send you straight to the grave myself.”

“You dare!” Louisa’s eyes blazed with defiance.

“If anything happens to me, my grandmother and my father won’t let you off the hook. And even if I die, I’ll drag you down with me. You can try me if you don’t believe it.”

Rafe might be ruthless, but the Malone family had no shortage of people just as vicious.

If she were really afraid of Rafe, she wouldn’t be worthy of being the lady of the Malone family.

After all, the Malone family didn’t have any cowardly mice left–those had all died off long ago.

Rafe, who had been locked in the cage, stared expressionlessly at Louisa in the other cage, the tension between them palpable.

For a moment, the air was thick with murderous intent.

But soon, Rafe suddenly smiled, shrugging casually as he returned to his usual flippant demeanor, “Just kidding. You don’t have to be so fierce.

“I know, you’re the one person in the Malone family who can’t be messed with. After all, your grandmother dotes on you, your uncle dotes on you, and even your cousins treat you like a princess. Who in their right mind would dare cross you?” Louisa responded coldly, “Now that you know, stop looking for trouble. If you do, even if my grandmother treats you kindly, I won’t let you off.”

If it weren’t for her grandmother’s special regard for this little bastard, she would have long since put him in his place. Louisa snorted, turning her head away, not wanting to waste any more time on Rafe.

Rafe, likewise, averted his gaze, feeling a sense of revulsion.

“How could you not? The Prince Regent is never seen without the Holy Lady,” Rafe deliberately said, knowing it would provoke her.
