598.Chapter 598

A little? Was that what she called “just a little“?

That arrow was aimed straight at his head.

If he hadn’t sensed the danger and dodged in time, his skull would’ve been pierced clean through.

Realizing Eliza might actually have some real skills, Vance narrowed his eyes slightly. “Your archery’s okay, but if you think that’s enough to beat me, you’re dreaming.”

“Then let’s settle this once and for all,” Eliza said calmly, her tone steady. “I’ll show you I never make empty boasts.”

Vance immediately caught her meaning and let out a cold snort. “Fine!”

‘Bring it on. No way I’m losing to a woman! he thought, his pride refusing to accept the possibility.

“Move the target back thirty feet, Vance barked.

But before the servants could act, Eliza shook her head. “Thirty feet isn’t enough.”

“Not enough? Then what does Your Grace suggest?” Vance asked, his tone dripping with mockery.

Eliza’s expression remained calm as she replied, “At least a hundred feet each time. If there’s no winner, move it back another hundred.”

“Such arrogance,” Vance sneered, his voice laced with disdain.

The Malone family members erupted into laughter, their mockery echoing through the air.

“A hundred feet at a time? Does she think she’s some kind of archery prodigy?”

“If she misses the target later, that would be truly hilarious!”

“Your Grace, if you lose, are you going to cry?

Loud thuds echoed.

“Ahh! Stop! Stop! What are you doing?”

The men who had been mocking Eliza moments ago were screaming in terror.

Nolan’s broadsword flew from his hand, spinning through the air before slamming heavily into the ground right in front of the Malone family members.

The man who had dared to mock Eliza was struck directly, his head bleeding profusely.

“Your Highness…” Theodore shot to his feet, his voice trembling.
