Eliza raised her hand and hurled Vexara into the air, unleashing a swarm of parasites. Without turning her head, she called out to Nolan who stood back–to–back with her, “Your Highness, cover me!”
Nolan asked, “Can you handle it?”
“There are a lot of them, but I can manage. Just need a bit of time,” Eliza replied.
“Focus on your task. I won’t let anything touch you.”
Nolan wasn’t one to make empty promises.
As soon as he finished speaking, the big knife in his right hand slashed out immediately. In an instant, many killer bees were split into two and fell from the air.
In the next moment, a dagger slipped from his left sleeve. With a sharp flick, he cleared away the killer bees that had gotten dangerously close to Eliza.
The other Black Flag soldiers moved at equal speed.
Nolan had brought them here because their own strength was extremely strong. They were the elites.
With Nolan and the elite soldiers around, Eliza focused entirely on commanding her poisonous bugs, directing thern to locate the queen bee hidden amidst the chaos.
Eliza’s target was clear, which was the queen of the killer bees.
She had figured out that these killer bees weren’t parasites.
But they suddenly appeared and attacked them.
Not a single bee had gone after the Malone family members nearby, which was suspicious.
In such a purposeful group action, either the Malone family had some means to expel or avoid the killer bees, or the killer bees were controlled.
Eliza thought these bees were definitely being controlled.
Regular bugs couldn’t be controlled unless their leader had been turned into a parasite.
In those killer bees, the queen bee was the key.
So Eliza suspected that the queen had already been turned into a parasite. The fastest way to end this was to find the queen and kill it.
Without their queen, the killer bees would fall into chaos, buzzing aimlessly without direction.
That would be the perfect moment for Vexara to play.
An extremely powerful parasite could shock and control the bees that had lost their backbone in a short period.
Once that happened, the killer bees would become her allies.
The plan seemed simple, but putting it into action was a whole different story.
The killer bees were everywhere. The Vexara, standing guard by Eliza’s side, was under immense pressure.
It had to protect Eliza while also swiftly controlling the entire bees the moment the queen bee was killed. If it failed, the
bees would go crazy, attacking everyone in sight, including the Malone family.
It was not important if the others died. But Eliza and her lover could not be hurt.
Those were Vexara’s true thoughts.
For some reason, Vexara decided that Nolan was Eliza’s lover and instinctively wanted to protect him.
Nolan, of course, had no idea what was going on in Vexara’s mind. If he did, he’d be very joyful.
While Vexara was lost in its strange thoughts, the poisonous bugs under Eliza’s control had already located the queen bee.
But entering the room wasn’t going to be easy.
The room was surrounded by a thick layer of insect–repelling poison powder.
Just like the poison powder outside the governor’s mansion last time. No, this one’s even deadlier.
It must have been made by Rayden who was discovered by Vexara in the governor’s mansion last time.
Eliza frowned slightly and thought, ‘Damn it! There’s no time. Vexara can’t get through. Looks like I’ll have to use that
method.‘
Eliza shut her eyes tightly, a flicker of pain crossing her face. She forced her will upon the centipedes, commanding them to charge straight into the poison powder.

603.Chapter 603
“It’s that sorcerer working for the Prince Regent! It has to be him! These bugs are his parasites!”
“Damn it, Rayden! Didn’t you say he wasn’t here?”
‘They’re all sorcerers from the Malone family. Not a single one of them is innocent. Alright, kill all of them; Eliza thought.
