Static Grade weapons or artifacts have the strength of Tier 2 Intermediate Rank Mage’s power. They are mostly used to increase cultivation. Like the Wheel Stone obtained by Gu Jin.
Holy Grade weapons or artifacts have the strength of Tier 3 Advanced Rank Mage’s power. They have both defensive and offensive power.
Spirit Grade weapons or artifacts have the strength of Tier 1 Super Mage’s power. They mostly have strong defensive power.
Soul Grade weapons or artifacts have the strength of Tier 2 Emperor Rank Mage’s power. They are the most useful tools considering how they can not only attack, and defend but also sometimes have the effect to rebound the attack.
Of course, each grade has its own variations too but this was the most general knowledge about the artifacts.
Soul Grade artifacts were not something that could be obtained by rich people. No! To buy a soul-grade artifact you at least need to have a high military post and wealth.
It could be said that Soul Grade artifacts are only obtainable by those who have both power and money.
So the boy in front of him might be some secret agent or even worse...a member of the Magic Council.
The black-cloaked man cursed his luck.
He passed all the difficult tests yet at the end when it was time for the easiest test, he encountered such a disastrous situation.
But he didn’t want to give up! Not at this critical moment!
The black cloak man changed his target to Zhang Wei. He knew he couldn’t harm Gu Jin as long as she had the compass.
So it was better to harm those who don’t have any armour.
Whoosh.
As if understanding the black-cloaked man’s intention, Gu Jin used her vines to harshly pull Zhang Wei behind her.
Zhang Wei groaned in pain.
The attack didn’t hit the target and the black-cloaked man was getting anxious.
If this goes on then others will be alerted and once someone calls the police, he will be done for.
Ebon Shadows only protects those who are official members of the group.
As for those who didn’t even pass the test...they...even if someone kills them, the Ebon Shadows wouldn’t take any action.
In fact, whoever fails the test, that person and his/her family will be killed by Ebon Shadows.
This was done to protect the data about Ebon Shadows getting leaked.
Hence even now, the members of the Magic Council don’t have any information on Ebon Shadows.
They only know that Ebon Shadows wants to destroy humanity. Why they are doing it? Who is behind it? What is their purpose? Who were the people involved and how did they enter this organization...Every single thing was unknown
The black-cloaked man didn’t want to die and hence he decided to go all out.
His space element was very powerful, however rest of the elements weren’t as powerful as the space element...
In 2 hours he will run out of mana and before that, he needs to kill all of the 6 people in front of him.
Hence the black-cloaked man started to cast an Advance Rank Space Magic spell.
It might consume a lot of mana however, it would be enough to harm all 6 of them!
Then in the next 2 to 3 moves, he could easily kill all of them except for that boy.
However this time before the black-cloaked man could take action, the 4 members of the team started to attack.
They were shocked by the black-cloaked man’s attack previously and horrified by his powerful Space Magic, but now that they have come to their sense they won’t remain silent!
They would retaliate too!
Yi Ran cast her spell,
"Distract!"
The spell distract of psychic magic could disturb a person’s Star Path which would either result in a failed attack or slowed speed of Star Path connection.
Tang Guan used his second element Ice Element to freeze the environment around the black cloaked man.
Liu Sunhao’s second element was the metal element, he took out some of the metals from his storage space and attacked the black-cloaked man by casting his spell.
"Metal Barrage!"
Sharp metal projectiles shot out from Liu Sunhao’s hands, hurtling toward the black-cloaked man with deadly precision.
Xu Mingtao’s second element was the Poison element. Even though it was at a primary level, it was a powerful element.
"Poison Vines!" Xu Mingtao said.
The combined onslaught of attacks caught the black-cloaked man off guard, forcing him to dodge and weave as he struggled to defend himself against the relentless barrage.
But despite their efforts, the black-cloaked man remained elusive, his movements swift and fluid as he dodged each attack with ease.
Gu Jin watched the battle unfold with a steely gaze, her mind racing as she searched for a way to turn the tide in their favor.
