This little girl is truly a mystery.
How could an ordinary girl disguise herself as a man and have a soul-grade artifact?
It would have been understandable if she had joined some big mercenary group. However, she was a member of a small ordinary mercenary group!
Not to mention, it was very likely that she had mistakenly entered some other dimension, but within 14 hours, she was able to return to the Earth.
This shows that she is powerful.
Just as Feng Tian was looking at Gu Jin with interest, he was pushed away by Liu Sunhao who said unhappily,
"Sir if you don’t want or don’t have the ability to get Jin out of the barrier, don’t stand in the way."
Feng Tian wasn’t angry and stood aside.
Liu Sunhao called out to Su Jin several times, but Gu Jin who was unconscious couldn’t hear him at all.
Feng Tian suddenly said,
"Try to sprinkle some water on her."
Liu Sunhao was irritated and said,
"How could we, he has a protective barrier around him!"
"The barrier only attacks or bounces back the attack when the frequency of attack surpasses a certain limit."
Liu Sunhao was a bit surprised and tapped on his head!
Yeah!
Why didn’t he think of it?
Xu Mingtao used her spell to accumulate some water and lightly sprinkled it on Gu Jin.
The barrier rippled slightly at the touch of the water, but it did not react aggressively as expected.
Instead, it seemed to shimmer faintly, its energy fluctuating in response to the gentle contact.
Feng Tian observed this with keen interest, noting the barrier’s unexpected reaction to the water.
He had expected it to repel any attempt to breach its defenses, but instead, it appeared to be allowing the water to pass through without resistance.
Liu Sunhao watched anxiously, hoping that the water would somehow help revive Gu Jin from her unconscious state.
The water drops landed on Gu Jin’s face, but since it was too few, Gu Jin didn’t show any signs of waking up.
Feng Tian, intrigued by the barrier’s reaction, stepped forward.
"Let me try something."
He summoned a small orb of light infused with spatial energy and gently directed it toward Gu Jin’s unconscious form.
To everyone’s surprise, the orb passed effortlessly through the barrier, hovering above Gu Jin like a beacon of soft light.
Slowly, Gu Jin began to stir, her eyelids fluttering as she struggled to regain consciousness.
To Gu Jin, it was a very strange feeling.
Just a few minutes ago, she felt very tired, and just a few minutes after a strange soft light enveloped her and Gu Jin felt her fatigue lifting, replaced by a strange sense of warmth and comfort.
As the orb of light hovered above her, Gu Jin felt a gentle pull, as if it was urging her to wake up.
With effort, she forced her heavy eyelids to open, blinking against the brightness of the light.
Her vision was blurry at first, but as her eyes adjusted, she saw the concerned faces of the members of the Shadow Fang group and the curious gaze of Feng Tian.
Gu Jin frowned, trying to piece together the events that had led her here.
Then, memories of her battle with the dark beast and her encounter with the Dark Solar Vein flooded back, and she sat up abruptly, her eyes widening with realization.
"The Dark Solar Vein!" she was about to exclaim when the space said quickly,
"Master it is already placed inside."
Gu Jin calmed down instantly. Looking at the Shadow Fang members, she was surprised.
She was expecting that they either be waiting for her or would be preparing to leave after knowing that only 13 hours had passed since she entered the spatial rift.
But to her surprise not only did they wait for her, they even tried to find her.
Suddenly saving Liu Sunhao felt that it was of worth.
"Jin come out!" Liu Sunhao shouted.
The bubbly and cheerful guy persona was long gone.
The one who was calling her right now was a dangerous guy. Just from the gritted teeth, Gu Jin could sense how angry Liu Sunhao was.
For a moment she was filled with a strange sense of guilt.
After all from Liu Sunaho’s condition, it was clear that he hadn’t slept or eaten anything for the past 14 hours.
Gu Jin withdrew the compass and waited for Liu Sunhao’s attack. Liu Sunhao pounced on Gu Jin.
Before Gu Jin could react, she was on the ground and Liu Sunhao was hugging and crying as he said,
"You fool! Are you even in your right mind? How could you ignore your own life to save me? Didn’t you say you would never save me if you had the chance to? Idiot! Liar!"
