Chapter 97: Chapter 97: Complex Situation

Long Yifan reached a nearby girl in just two steps and hugged her,

"Calm down! Sister please."

The girl shocked by the sudden hug started pushing away Long Yifan,

"Don’t touch me! Don’t touch me!"

When she saw that Long Yifan was not moving away she suddenly bit his hands.

Her teeth were so strong that blood started seeping out of the bite mark.

Long Yifan didn’t utter a word.

He only gently patted her head.

Suddenly the girl twisted and shouted,

"Ahhhh! Ants! Ants on my body! Ahhhh!"

The girl suddenly started tearing her clothes.

"Get out!" Long Yifan said coldly.

All the servants who were standing at the doorway didn’t dare to look further and hurriedly left.

Long Yifan heaved a sigh of relief and hurriedly covered his sister with a blanket.

His sister especially hated it when someone even watched a hint of her skin.

When she was still conscious she used to ask,

"Fan’er does my skin show from anywhere?"

At that time he didn’t understand what she meant and used to nod his head,

"Yes."

A strange relief used to appear on her face.

His beautiful sister who used to twist his ears whenever he used to do something wrong, his beautiful sister who loved him more than his parents, his beautiful sister who used to promise him that she would never leave...now doesn’t even remember him...

Long Yifan shut his eyes, as his sister continued to struggle.

Slowly, he began to speak in a soothing voice, hoping to calm her down.

"Sister, it’s me, Fan’er," he said gently, his voice laced with warmth and reassurance. "You’re safe here, with me. There are no ants, no one will hurt you."

But his sister’s struggles continued, her mind trapped in a nightmare from which she couldn’t escape.

Long Yifan felt a surge of frustration and helplessness wash over him. He wanted nothing more than to take away her pain, to make her whole again.

Suddenly the girl’s body started to twitch.

Long Yifan hurriedly took out an injection from the nearby drawer and in a swift moment he injected her with some green liquid.

The girl struggled for a while and after 5 minutes she stopped struggling as she said,

"Cool...how cool....so soothing..."

With that, the girl closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Long Yifan gently tucked the girl in the bed, calmly wiped away the tears in his eyes, and walked out of the door after looking at the girl for one last time.

When he reached the living room, he sat on one of the sofa and closed his eyes.

Suddenly his phone rang.

Long Yifan took a deep breath and glanced at caller ID.

Fei Hanzhu.

He picked up the call and asked in a playful tone,

"What time is it? Why are you calling me in the afternoon?"

"Yifan you don’t know! A new target has been fixed on the university’s forum." Fei Hanzhu said in an excited voice.

"Oh? Who?" Long Yifan asked as he took out his laptop and typed in some code.

"Check out the forum first. Someone has posted a video of how she used to sell her roommate’s photo! Can we choose her as this week’s target? Please?" Fei Hazhu begged.

Long Yifan chuckled and said,

"From when did we start to do good deeds? Since she is so evil she should be included in our house, do you understand what I mean?" Towards the end, Long Yifan chuckled.

Fei Hanzhu was stunned,

"But..."

"Send her to group 3 of our house. It’s time to see some drama." Long Yifan said in a playful tone.

It took Fei Hanzhu some time to understand what Long Yifan meant and his eyes lit up,

"Oh my god! How evil can you be Yifan!"

Long Yifan chuckled and changed the topic as he asked,

"So how is the search for Divine Doctor going on?"

Since Long Yifan’s face was not visible to Fei Hanzhu, he didn’t know how disappointed Long Yifan was when he answered in a bored tone,

"Nope."

Long Yifan closed his eyes and when he opened his eyes, the hope and the disappointment which were previously visible were gone.

"By the way Yifan, Yuri was asking for your whereabouts...."

Long Yifan leaned on the sofa and asked indifferently,

"Why?"

"Yifan you can’t be so cold! Yuri is the top socialite, having the potential to be a Super Mage, not to mention her background is very strong! She is very beautiful and she is your fiance too!"
