At that moment, Sirius burst into the room.
His expression immediately turned icy when he saw Wayne seething with anger. With a wave of his hand, a dozen fierce-looking men rushed into the room.
Sirius strode up to Zack and grabbed him by the collar. He then proceeded to slap him hard across the face.
"You ungrateful dog! How dare you harass Mr. Greene Senior? You'd better believe it when I say I'll break all of your legs and throw you all into the river today!"
Sirius was no pushover. He had spent time in the underworld and was known for his ruthlessness.
At the same time, he was sharp and ambitious. If not, he wouldn't have been assigned as the head of security for Misty Hill.
After all, this was Nolan they were talking about.
Even though Sirius hadn't followed him to Eastland, he was well aware of what had happened there—Nolan had single-handedly taken down the Norberg family. When it came to killing, he didn't do it one by one, but by droves.
How could anyone dare to provoke such a terrifying figure?
Nolan had always valued family above all else. His love and care for his parents were plain for all to see. So, there was no way that Sirius would get off easy if anything were to happen to Wayne and Melody while they were in his care.
And that was why Sirius was furious!
Zack and the others had already gone weak in the knees with fear, but it seemed they had reached the point of no return.
