The Royal Military Academy's Impostor Owns a Dungeon [BL] novel Chapter 249

Chapter 249: Level C

Deputy Officer Curtis was working on his backlog when he heard two people rushing over to his office.

He activated the automatic doors, figuring that no one would be running like that if there was no actual emergency.

"Speak." He commanded, especially after watching the two soldiers stare at each other hesitantly.

"Sir! There seems to be an anomaly in the Guild Rankings."

"The Guild Rankings? So, you mean to tell me you guys ran over here for that?!" Curtis asked in exasperation.

"Sir, we didn’t feel the need to report it when it was just that. But, Sir, right about now, we’re getting landing permission requests from over hundreds of ships."

"Hundreds of ships?!"

"Hundreds of Battleships, Sir!" We look like we’re under attack! But all of them are just asking for permission to land!"

"What?! Show me! And what does that have to do with an anomaly in the Guild Rankings?!"

The soldier handed over the file, and Curtis was surprised to see that someone had earned over 60 million credits in less than a day.

"Is this a joke? Or did someone miss a few zeroes?" murmured the Deputy Officer, who only stopped when he saw the name of this likely cheating Guild.

Dungeon Guardians.

"???"

Wait.

Isn’t that the Imperial Crown Prince’s new guild?

"What’s the destination of all these requesting ships?" His brows furrowed as his hunch intensified.

"That’s just it. They’re all going to the Guild that just got promoted from Level D to Level C in a day."

"The Dungeon Guardians Guild, Sir."

It was the most absurd thing they’d seen since the last battle for supremacy.

Seeing a guild that has never even taken a military contract jump onto the next guild level in a day would surely attract attention.

Then, add all of those requests, and you have something worthy of being escalated, and so here they were reporting this oddity.

"They have job contracts for the 60 million credits? Show me."

And they really did.

"Sir! They even have a contract with the Imperial Palace!"

Now, Curtis wasn’t as nervous, considering that was the actual Imperial Prince on there, but for him to have a contract with the Palace that could risk exposing his identity? Highly unusual.

Then he saw it.

There was a contract from House Azren, another from House Vantari, and even one from House Zorath.

It was one thing to look like nepotism was in play, but when other families with their own guilds request a contract, someone better start asking around.

And so Curtis ran over to the Marshal.

"Sir, I apologize for the disturbance, but you ought to see this." He asked before looking up from the terminal, only to see the Marshal watching a projected feed.

"Actually, Curtis, it would be better if you watched it," shrugged Eden, who had clearly arrived before him.

"Huh?"

Then he saw it.

Outside that rickety old shack that was called a base was an insanely long line of people and their pets.

Pets?!

And if someone unfamiliar with society looked at it, they’d think it was a pet show.

But you see, standing around, waiting for what seemed like their turn were the Heads of the Houses.

These weren’t even the Butlers or the assistants!

These were the actual Heads!

Save for that one sudden dip in height.

The Imperial Princess!

"Marshal! That...Isn’t that Princess Gianina?!"

The little Princess was actually sitting on one large wolf while carrying what seemed to be a small duck.

"Sir! What is happening?!" Pleaded the confused Deputy Officer, who could only watch as the Marshal and Eden looked at the feed as if they had expected this.

"You might want to sit down for this, Curtis."

"Eden, show it to him."

You are one, a sloth. Or maybe a manic cat. Thought Curtis, who had to stop himself from giving her a side-eye.
