The Royal Military Academy's Impostor Owns a Dungeon [BL] novel Chapter 255

Chapter 255: Chipmunk

Nina hadn’t really thought so earlier. But when the young man with such vibrant golden eyes started eating the Fruit Roll-Up, he suddenly saw it.

Those cheeks! That bulge!

"!!!"

After all, she had done extensive research for this day, and that look was as adorable as the photos!

Not to mention the generosity! And that was really it because Little Nina may not have known much, but she knew of money, and spiritual energy was money!

Yet, she was just given so much like this!

Therefore, the conclusion was that he must be a shape-shifter. It wasn’t that they didn’t exist; in fact, there were major blob families that could shape-shift. It’s just that she never thought she’d see one in person!

Luca was not sure how to answer because the child’s eyes sparkled like the sea reflecting the sky. And to begin with, he was not sure what a shape shifter was supposed to be.

"Host! I know about them!" D-29 volunteered, preparing an exhaustive list of dramas in different languages that had shifters on them. However, he had to take out 97% of them that were fictional.

But before the little system could do that, the Imperial Princess decided to take out her tributes.

"Lord Chipmunk! I apologize for not recognizing the benefactor right away!" She leaned in closer, her apologetic eyes narrowing with conviction as her brows furrowed in what was clear frustration.

"I have tried to prepare in advance but still failed miserably! But if you can find it in your heart to forgive me, I still hope you’d accept my thanks!"

A princess must remember to say thank you, but more than that, a noble must learn how to apologize.

And so, to show her resoluteness, the princess handed over her gifts.

"Brother Chipmunk, I made these thank you cards for you, and this one was a group effort from me and the Butler who I swear knew nothing of the secret!"

Luca looked at the goods she handed over. A stack of colorful papers and an endearingly lumpy, handsewn doll.

"There is still a lot of room for improvement as I have only managed to learn to color within the lines, but I promise to hand over better ones next time!"

The cards were surely thank-you cards; it was just that each one had a chipmunk in a different pose. Luca had to ask about the design choice, not that he had a reliable eye.

"A chipmunk?"

"Should I have hidden that, My Lord?" She asked worriedly.

"Big Brother said you were a very cute chipmunk and must be thanked for all the delicious snacks!"

Luca’s head snapped toward Xavier.

There it was, the culprit!

The Crown Prince, utterly unrepentant, merely rested his chin on his hand as he tried hiding that amused smile.

"Well," Xavier drawled, "you do resemble one."

Luca’s cheeks burned a vibrant pink, the chipmunk comparison finally sinking in.

"I—I’m not a chipmunk!" He protested, flailing slightly.

But Nina, ever so fast (not exactly correct) on the uptake, beamed with an understanding and knowing smile.

"Don’t worry!"

"I won’t tell anyone about your secret! We can pinky swear on it!"

And Luca was surprised to see a pinky swear directed at him as she dramatically stretched out her very tiny pinky.

Luca was helpless. But ended up bamboozled into this pinky swear.

"Ah..." He scratched his cheek, half-mortified and half endeared. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm
