To label it as a change actually felt like an understatement.
The space was honestly overhauled.
What was surprising was how he was asked to select among different settlement plans.
"A settlement plan?"
"Yes, Host! This is one way for you to re-organize your space easily. While amenities were built randomly before, now you would have an option to place them methodically. And the Dungeon offers a few urban planning blueprints for this."
"Wow!" Luca couldn’t help but marvel at the designs. For some reason, it was a collection of varying plans ranging from the ancient cities to those closer to what they had in the Interstellar world.
However, he wanted to preserve as much of the environment as possible. While modern buildings would surely make his life more comfortable, he already saw what would happen to places devoid of greenery.
Luca actually opted for a quaint plan. It was rather suburban and closer to what they had back in Tesseris, but it could still accommodate several modern buildings.
The three elders noticed this massive renovation and thought of a dimensional collapse the moment the ground shook. freёwebnoѵel.com
When they came out of their daze, they were surprised to see the sudden expansion instead of their imminent demise.
Just how much spiritual power was their Lord using to do such a thing?
Thankfully, nothing since the Dungeon was doing all of it for him.
But with this movement came the displacement of several manually constructed structures, such as the farms and orchards.
They were definitely still present and functional but were ways away from the settlement.
Luca actually thought of the modern farms but hesitated after looking at his elderly farmers.
Would they be able to use such technology? He remembered how many of the elderly people back in Tesseris couldn’t even use their mobile phones.
So, Luca looked for alternatives and saw a much cheaper item: farmlands.
Surprisingly, the farmlands were more cost-effective and, depending on the level of the dungeon and the farmland, provided clear bonuses to crop growth and quality.
But, in reality, this was only a better option as Luca managed to gather his labor force, who were more than happy to get actual farmlands with better soil quality.
The elders actually chided each other to have a competition on who could grow better crops, and Luca decided to get three different farmlands for now.
It was 20,000CP each, and while that was cheaper than the 50,000CP farm, Luca only had 79,100CP after the upgrade to level 2.
But he was really glad he spent the CP on these plots. For when the plots were laid down before his eyes, he could only marvel at the might of his Dungeon.
It was a surreal experience, and his new buddies missed it. Luca hoped they could watch the renovation with him next time. But first, he just had to confess the source of all the points. Hmm.
Maybe he shouldn’t have easily offered an energy crystal as the prize.
