Time Machine Divorce Him Now novel Chapter 1

Chapter 1

When my husband’s beloved and I were trapped in a fire, he chose to save me, his pregnant wife, first.

But when he went back for his beloved, she was already gone.

He blamed me for delaying him and forbade our daughter, Mia Kaufman, from calling him Dad.

Six years later, time machines were invented. He insisted on going back. to save his beloved..

Grace Parrish, if you hadn’t threatened me with the child, I wouldn’t have saved you first.

Even Mia refused to acknowledge me as her mother.

If you hadn’t killed Kiana, Dad wouldn’t hate me.

Amidst their accusations, I made up my mind to return to the past as well.

This time, I’d save myself and not owe Antonio Kaufman anything.

As the dizziness from the time machine faded, an almost scorching heat wave instantly engulfed me.

I opened my eyes and saw Antonio standing before me, his lips pressed into a tight line.

He glanced at me and immediately ran to Kiana Lester, who had fallen to the ground.

Desperate, I dashed through the roaring flames, clinging to life.

When I was about to get out of the flames. Antonio ran by me, carrying Kiana, who pushed me back in panic.

I fell to the ground, and a cupboard fell on me.

After a wave of searing pain, I endured the burning heat, pushed the cupboard off me, and slowly crawled out of the fire.

When I was finally safe, I coughed intensely. Antonio walked over and looked at me with his cold eyes.

So you can escape without my help? You waited in the fire to pressure me into choosing you over Kiana, right?

The way he looked at me sent a chill down my spine, despite the scorching heat.

He didn’t know that I had come back by time machine too.

You must want to tell my parents about this, don’t you? Whatever. But leave Kiana out of it, or don’t blame me!

I touched my abdomen out of instinct and responded calmly, Antonio, let’s divorce.

He froze and stared at me. After some moments, he said with impatience, I’m not in the mood for the joke.

I mean it. Let’s divorce.

In their previous life, Antonio’s biggest regrets were not saving Kiana first in the fire and marrying me under his parentspressure.

I didn’t want to go down that path again, so I would help him fix his regrets.

With his cold eyes, Antonio said in a gruff voice, I know you want to make a big deal out of this so that my parents would hate Kiana more.

But marriage is not a game. I hope you don’t joke about divorcing again. Let’s go. I’ll take you to the hospital for a thorough examination.

After saying that, Antonio held out his hand to help me up, warning me with his cold look to stop making a fuss.

I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen. Just as I lifted my arm, Kiana grasped Antonio’s hand first.

Antonio, Casey seems unwell, maybe because it took in too much smoke. Can you take us to a pet clinic?

Seeing Kiana crying with worry, Antonio nodded with no hesitation.
