Chapter 1618

Hearing this, Molly remembered he had hired her to treat his legs when she had returned to Norlon. He had been sick then. It had been so long, but he had not been in full health yet.

She muttered in depression, "Every time I managed to make you healthier, you had an accident. You always make me worried."

If she had not come to his side, his condition would have become extremely terrible.

Sean squeezed her palm and said, "Thank you for what you have done for me for the past two years. You must be tired."

His voice was soft and gentle.

Hearing this, Molly laughed, "No, I'm not tired."

She carefully thought about it and added, "I worked for you to make money at the beginning. And after I fell in love with you, I am glad to help you."

When Sean saw the bright smile on her pretty face, his heart skipped a beat. Then, he pulled her over, bowed his head, and kissed her slightly parted red lips.

After a light kiss, Molly raised her head. Her long and curly eyelashes trembled, and the look in her eyes was flirtatious. She looked too seductive, so Sean couldn't help bitterly smiling, "When will my damned body recover?"

Hearing the implication in his words, Molly blushed. Then, she glared at him to pretend to be angry and said, "Stop thinking nonsense. Be obedient and have a good recuperation!"

"I know," Sean said and kissed her forehead.

It was about ten at night when the acupuncture treatment ended. As soon as she got onto the bed, he took her into his arms. They embraced and fell into a deep dreamless sleep.

The next day, Molly got up early to make breakfast.

As soon as the breakfast was ready, Edmund and Logan came up from the basement. And they both looked haggard.

Molly frowned at them and asked, "Didn't you sleep last night?"

Edmund yawned, "You guessed it right. After reading the documents you gave me, I wanted to develop the drug as soon as possible and accidentally forgot the time."
