Unspoken Love novel Chapter 5

Brodie looked down at Luna. "Why did you come back?"

Luna looked up at him. She wanted to keep some self-esteem for herself and said, "I said that my half-sister stole my man. I hate to..."

Brodie narrowed his eyes and interrupted her, "Luna, you're not good at lying."

Luna turned her face away and whispered, "Brodie, I came here and let you do whatever you want. Why don't you do it?"

Brodie said with contempt, "I don't like a bitch."

Luna looked at Brodie and finally realized that he didn't even want to touch her even though she came to climb in his bed.

Brodie didn't have any feelings for her now.

This truth hurt Luna more than all the humiliation. She suddenly got up and rushed to the bathroom. She put on her wet underwear and skirt and left Brodie's villa.

...

Luna went back to the hotel and took a bath.

She simply couldn't get close to Brodie right now. She could only think of other ways to sleep with him.

When Luna was thinking about it, her phone rang.

Luna looked at the caller ID and picked it up quickly. "Mom, what's wrong?"

"Luna, can you transfer some money to me?" Luna's mother paused for a moment and continued, "I don't have any savings, but the hospital wants us to pay for the last chemotherapy. I..."

The Coveys never gave them enough money to meet their living expenses. They had to rely on Luna's salary to pay for food and Cindy's treatment. However, before returning to China, Luna quit her job, and they lost the only source of income.

Luna felt so bad. "Mom, I'm sorry ... I'll go get the money and transfer it to you soon."

"Alright ... Don't push yourself too hard. Cindy is fine. If you can't make it, you can go find Jason. He'll help you if you ask."

Jason Norton was Luna's husband, only in name.
