Sitting across from Troy was a handsome young man with an air of noble indifference. In his arms sat a petite girl with delicate, doll–like features, her fingers tapping away at a laptop.

The man was Nicolas, and the doll–like girl was Noelle.

Nicolas smiled elegantly at Troy. “Thank you for your hard work. I’ll pay you half of the agreed amount now. The rest will come after your testify in court.”

He exchanged a glance with Bryan.

Understanding immediately, Bryan handed a briefcase to Troy with a smile. “Here’s thirty million dollars. Please keep it well.”

“Okay, okay.”

Troy took the briefcase eagerly, repeatedly expressing his gratitude. “Sir, don’t worry. I have all the evidence of my dealings with Reyna. Coupled with this recording, we can definitely take her down!”
