Although it felt a little strange, she knew this was the best outcome. It meant she could stay with Nicolas, and as for Brandon having her memories, that didn’t matter. As long as she was with Nicolas, everything else could be left behind.

Let’s talk about now. Brandon, if you agree to my terms, 1 can have Noelle undergo the ‘memory reading experiment right now. She’ll give you the full memory, and I’ll ensure no one will chase you. You can live a peaceful life from now on.”

Brandon remained silent, his expression unreadable. He seemed to be contemplating Nicolas’s offer, while everyone else waited expectantly for his response. They thought this was a no–brainer.

Brandon would get the woman he wanted, and they wouldn’t have to worry about being pursued. It seemed like the perfect deal.
