“Do I have to pay so much in compensation?” Eric was somewhat incredulous.

“What do you think? Your money was either given away as donations or spent on food, drink, and entertainment. You simply can't pay it back now.” The agent sighed.

After some calculations with his agent, Eric realized that he would only be able to pay the penalty fee if he sold his current house.
