The Blood Moon Three Heavenly Kings confidently displayed their formations. Kaiba just crossed his arms and sneered, calmly watching their little show.
He then curled his lips: "Is that all?"
The Three: "!!!"
Such arrogance, plus his legendary reputation, made even the three-on-one side uneasy.
"If this is all you've got, you're not even a challenge. Let me show you what a real duelist looks like.
My turn, draw!"
Kaiba swept his hand, flipping a set card.
"Activate trap—'No Entry!!'" Kaiba said. "Change all Attack Position monsters on the field to Defense Position!"
[Marauding Captain, ATK 1200 → DEF 400] x2
[Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast, ATK 3800 → DEF 2000]
[Koalo-Koala, ATK 2800 → DEF 200]
Kazumi: "All our monsters got switched to defense!"
Takuya: "Koalo-Koala only has 200 DEF—trying to pick off a weak spot?"
Ryosuke: "But even if they're in defense, the Marauding Captains' lock is still on. As long as I have two Marauding Captains, you can't attack my other Warriors!"
But Kaiba ignored them.
"Activate Pot of Greed—draw two cards."
He drew two, adding one to hand, then revealed the other alongside another card.
"Continuous Spell—'Vision with Eyes of Blue!'"
The spell shimmered with golden light in his back row.
"This card's first effect: reveal a 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' in hand to activate."
He revealed 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon.'
"Having revealed 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon,' I can Special Summon a monster from my hand.
So I summon—Dragon Spirit of White!"
In a storm of white light, the sacred dragon soared, its bone wings spread, scattering shimmering light.
[Dragon Spirit of White, ATK 2500]
"Dragon Spirit of White's effect: when summoned, banish a Spell or Trap on your opponent's field."
Kaiba pointed at Ryosuke's set card.
"That one. Banish it."
A white whirlwind swept it away, revealing it to be the Counter Trap "Negate Attack."
["Negate Attack": When your opponent's monster attacks, negate the attack and end the Battle Phase.]
"Tch, took out my backup," Ryosuke clicked his tongue.
"'Vision with Eyes of Blue'—second effect," Kaiba continued coldly. "Once per turn, return a monster you control to the hand. Then Special Summon a 'Blue-Eyes' monster from your hand!"
He pointed to the glowing White Dragon.
"I return 'Dragon Spirit of White' to my hand!"
Dragon Spirit of White turned into golden light and flew back to his hand.
"Now, I Special Summon the just returned 'Dragon Spirit of White' again!"
It returned instantly—Dragon Spirit of White, once more!
[Dragon Spirit of White, ATK 2500]
"You can do that?" Ryosuke exclaimed. "You can Special Summon a monster you just bounced?"
"Wait," Kazumi noticed a loophole, "Didn't you say you can only Special Summon 'Blue-Eyes' monsters? But this is 'Dragon Spirit of White'!"
She wondered if he was just making it up.
Kaiba snorted: "Even though 'Dragon Spirit of White' doesn't say so in the name, it counts as a Blue-Eyes monster!"
The Three: "..."
This is rigged! Totally rigged!
Kira was speechless too. He recalled, though, that in the real card game, Dragon Spirit of White does count as Blue-Eyes by card text.
"Dragon Spirit of White's effect activates again—banish a Spell or Trap. This time, yours!"
He pointed at Takuya's back row.
White whirlwind banished it—it was "Sakuretsu Armor."
Kira sighed. He noticed that, among common traps, anime characters always loved Sakuretsu Armor, but it never actually succeeded.
"Next, I activate 'Trade-In'—tribute a Level 8 or higher monster to draw two."
He tributed Dragon Spirit of White, drawing two more.
"Then, from my hand—Ritual Spell—Chaos Form! I tribute a Level 8 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' to Ritual Summon a more chaotic form!"
The Ritual effect surged—a portal to a dimensional abyss. The dragon's body was engulfed, crackling with blue lightning, and a chaotic dragon emerged!
"Return from the abyss—Ritual Summon—
—Level 8, Blue-Eyes Chaos Dragon!"

Another Blue-Eyes variant. The pressure from the most powerful dragon made the three barely able to stand.
"Another Blue-Eyes," Kazumi gulped.
Ryosuke's face was grim: "Just how many weird Blue-Eyes does this guy have?"
"And now—Dragon Shrine!" Kaiba declared. "Send a Dragon from deck to grave. If it's Normal, send another."
He quickly dumped two cards.
"So, I send two 'Blue-Eyes White Dragons' from deck to graveyard."
The three had a bad feeling: "Three Blue-Eyes in the graveyard now..."
"From hand—Dragon's Mirror!"
As expected, Kaiba flashed his Spell Card.
"Fusion Summon a Dragon by banishing materials from the graveyard!
